How To Grow (peach) Fruit Trees in Containers

Thank you for watching and glad this helped you out! You can actually Leave the tree in a Five gallon container for it's life (if you had too). You would have to do A LOT OF ROOT PRUNing tho. Other than that a couple/ few years maybe. If you are growing from seed, I would keep an eye on it, bc it is going to be what we call a standard sized tree since it is not graphed on any type of root stock, so when it gets growing it aint gonna stop! -N

It depends on a few things, your zone you're growing in, how old or youbg the tree is and the time of season. So kinda hard to give an exact answer based upon not knowing those answers. -N

none. Probably should but I don't if you want to then I would recommend copper fungicide or neem, things like that. -N

Depends on how hot and dry it is where you are located. 1 time a day or up to 3 times a day, when necessary... if you have time -N

Apparently you MISSED the WHOLE point of this video... not everyone has or is able to plant a tree in the ground and they want to know how to up pot a tree into a bigger container so that it can continue to grow more, become stronger and produce better fruit. Just bc I have what appears to be a lot of yard space to plant a tree in the ground, that wasn't the point of this video - as explained by the title of the video. Thanks for watching and commenting. -N

You can put it in a larger container sooner... or put a few layers of cardboard/ landscape fabric/ cloth underneath with about 1.5-3 foot around the bottom or on a patio paver. Hope this helps! -N

I have just put up a new video for this year and it showing the fruit coming on now! -N

I watered it heavily for like the first week or two after planting it in the new container to help it get established, then fell back and would only water it as necessary or when we hit a really dry spell. These trees are great at letting you know when then need drink or assistance! So depending on where you live .. probably every 2-3 days at best... bc they can become susceptible to root rot. Hope that helps! -N
