how to grow plumeria flower plant from cuttings In this video i will tell you how to grow plumeria flower plant from cuttings. #plumeria #cuttings #gardening4u
These are your cuttings, but let me suggest using approximately 33% (1/3) perlite in your potting mix. The drainage and aeration it provides provide excellent protection from root rot, the biggest enemy when you're trying to root cuttings. You will find that extremely helpful. I'm using this mix in clear plastic cups so I can visualize the roots when they develop, as well as holes drilled in the sides to "jet" in water from a mister rather than watering from the top. I just jetted in enough water so I saw that approx. 1/2 of the potting mix is wet. I have 4 cuttings now "hatching" with 3 leaves on one and another in the process of putting out a flower stalk as the first emergence! The other 2 are not far behind, with little "claws" coming out of the stems that aren't true leaves yet. In another week or so, they'll fully "leaf out." 😉
