@@haninotran9218 in the video they applied that white creamy stuff that said "Fungicide" Fungicides are pesticides that kill or prevent the growth of fungi and their spores.
it works. It worked in just 5 days sprouts came out. I did not use fungicide but I have covered them in transparent plastic. Also I live in a place with temperature of around 30-35°C . More mature rose stem will sprouts earlier. Thank you for the video. I tried and its working. So helpful
I prefer the talking. I often listen to things while driving or doing housework. To me, and many others these no talking videos are just music in the background.
At last a genuine guy showing us the real method Thank you for this video tried and tested and works thanks again Unlike other videos that show you a tiny cutting and after a week they show you a ten foot rose plant.
If you want an actual rose plant you should strip the stem of all its leaves so that it spends its time on growing roots. Also, growth hormone increases the chance of rooting.
Thanks for that!! I just did that. I'm also following the advice above but do you know if these need to be in sunlight at all? It's just starting winter here in Australia, but I live in Queensland so it'll be like 6 degrees at night - 20 degrees during the day to start with. So ... I guess coz it's not our hot summer sun it's ok to get them in direct sunlight but then.. Maybe once it's starting to get hotter by October, I should get it out of the direct sunlight? Any advice would be great! And I'm guessing I don't water the plants when I have the bottles on top, it just keeps it night and humid in there right?? I only put the bottle on one of the stems as the second one was a little bit too green and soft. I'm wondering if I should have cut it up a little bit more from were it had been in the water of the bouquet to keep it alive. I did cut it a bit more up the stem but probably should have got to s dryer section. Anyhow I'll see how that goes!!
I'm going to try this. Thank you so much for showing the steps clearly. I plan to use sap from my aloe vera plant as a fungicide alternative.. This way I won't have to pay for a new item and will enjoy regenerative gardening by letting an existing plant help a baby neighbor grow. I hope it works.
Thank you for a simple to follow, quick and easy video. I have two questions: 1. Is that soil just mud or enriched with some fertilizer ? 2. What kind of fungicide did you use ?
He is the only correct man to grow cuttings with fungicide .I think organic methds may fail .fungicide or sap powder ( fungi cide).only fungus casing failure of cutting growth.hats off to him .bottling?!(!)the best method .foriegn nurseries using this method.enjoy with ur rose plant.
I noticed that one of the bottles had a hole in the cork, but the others did not. Is there supposed to be an airway into the bottle. Also he poured water once into the pot but gave no indication if the stems needed to be watered regularly during the first 12 days. Can anyone shed some light on this
Just like watering plants, you do water the plant. You are creating a greenhouse affect placing the bottles over the stem giving moisture and perfect temperature to grow. The small hole in the top is to allow a little air to vent.
I am absolutely blown away that you took the caps off the bottles before removing the bottles from the soil. there's no way I could have ever predicted that.
To slowly expose them to air. They've been contained in green house conditions with lots of humidity so you gradually introduce them to the environment that they will be living in.

I would have preferred words, without the music - and thorough verbal instructions on what you were doing and why.....I didn't find your video helpful.
Nice video but I am unable to do the same. I failed more than 15 times with with different media like sand, cockpit, garden soil but failed with the common problem that is in the cutting new shoots came within 1 week and and it died after 2 week. I also cover it with polythene bag but not able to get success.. Please help me.
Looks like sand which is used alot for cuttings . and the white powder is root hormone. It comes in liquid, powder and even gel. It helps stimulate root growth and gives higher success rate. You can also use raw honey.
@@benclark4779 Actually he said the white stuff was *fungicide* (but I'm pretty sure the fungicide IS also rooting hormone), so Ben you are right, I think? Lol. But hey, is that really sand? I'm pretty sure it's garden soil like he said. Looks like he's in an Eastern part of the world where the soil is really dry.
That is actually soil not sand. I am from India where soil is very fine and dry which more looks like a sand. 😀 Mostly people in my back home (70%) do not buy soil from outside for planting. They just use a ground soil.
