Pray and fast. The things you may need to fast from tv, music, food, family and friends. Pick and choose which ones you are willing to stick to for a few days or a week.
Sometimes I have to leave friends, so called family (except immediate) family, a job, neighbors, and people I don’t know, I have to stay in faith because this society is crazy and I have to stay prayed up! 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Wow. Thank you for clarifying on how long to isolate. Because I have now just started a period of isolation and it's only been a solid month and everybody is thinking I've fallen off but it feels really good. Heavily in the word. Started fasting for the first really trying to Not let any negativity in. 🙏🏽

I can baptize people as so any believer in Christ can who is in the spirit working the labors of God. Ask Marc to baptize you I’m sure he is willing to but self baptism is not biblical. Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist with water. Jesus apostles baptized other people . Paul in Acts 9 was baptized by a man named Ananias of Damascus. So on and so forth. Our doctrine needs to be backed up with scripture or else it becomes false doctrine.

He was simply a cousin of Jesus that dedicated his life to baptizing people that were of their faith , no where in the scripture does it say that John was a Christian, Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, or even a Baptist he only baptized people.

I always sit down in the shower and lean forward while the water runs over my body as a type of ritual cleansing. That’s my personal type of ritual cleansing that I enjoy while showering and listening to worship music. Focusing on cleansing yourself spiritually adds a dimension to the physical cleansing of showering and helps you focus on not getting sinfully dirty again. I definitely prefer outdoor baptisms, as they seem more natural, but mine was done in an indoor church baptistry setting.

I was also given my name and told to step out into the rain and this was my baptism. I didn’t understand what had happened until I came across this verse.

@@omarsfitnessworld3213 this is why reading the Bible in its entirety is so crucial . Praying for someone you’ve never met isn’t as powerful as you may think. I have my own life to live as you have yours to live . Too many religious people out here thinking they’re walking that path but they’re going the same direction as everyone else. God has a plan for each and one of us.
Mark, you misunderstand the first point about getting baptized that scripture talking about water does not mean literal water. It means the word of God washed with the word of God baptism is not a requirement for justification because we are not Catholics or orthodox. We don't preach a works based salvation. All you must do is believe have faith in Christ and then you are justified. Baptism is required, but not required for justification.
Marc question: Before becoming a follower of Jesus there is a specific Prayer we must pray right? Is it the prayer where we acknowledge that we are sinners, we repent of our sins and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior?
This baptizing to be saved is works based salvation... To be born of water and spirit, Jesus was talking in parables about natural birth. The thief on the cross didn't get baptized, he just believed in Jesus Christ. The Bible says whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and you will be saved.
I got baptized in lake me and my husband by some very religious folks they wouldn't baptized my daughter faith tho because of legalism and said she wasn't worthy enough or behaved enough they tried to turn my daughters from God forreal religion really does divide and hurt people .
How can you baptize yourself when Jesus himself had to be baptized by John the Baptist to fulfill the righteousness of God? We must be baptized in the name of Jesus by a true Jesus name man of God to have our sins forgiven. The man of God is a cherubim -or way keeper- of the Kingdom of God here on earth.
What about the thief on the cross? And before you say he’s an “exception” show me where in the Bible it says that. Baptism is not required. We are born of water when we’re born.
Physical water baptism is not the type of baptism talked about in scripture. It was to get people ready for the baptism of the spirit before it happened. The spirit of God is called water in scripture, and in the NT it tells you specifically the spiritual baptism is what counts, the spiritual circumcision is what counts, being a spiritual j3w is what counts, not the physical rituals that show what has happened spiritually. Dunking your head in water doesnt save you. You need spiritual clarity, brother.
