How To Grow SPROUTS For CHICKENS! ANYONE Can Do This! 

Hey folks, use the water that you originally soaked the seeds in to water your plants- it’s good for them. I do the same thing with the rinse water. “ Happy Sprouting”. 😊

Chia seeds do the same thing as the arugula.

I’ve had very good success with sprouting lentils and my chickens love em!

I was thinking of doing this all year round I wonder how much they need.

I've been sprouting barley and sunflower for my chooks. I put them in little flowerpots in my aquaponics bed, which fills amd empties about 40 times a day. So that's 40 daily rinses, lol, but zero work or attention. Grab a couple pots, toss to the birds, add more seed and replace. I keep about 20 pots in rotation, so I have a couple to toss every day. Of course, the bed sprang a leak so it's all down right now while I replace the liner. I'll have to give this method a try.

Try using just 1T of seeds. You should get almost the same amount of seeds!
