How To GROW Your Biceps Peak (You're Missing These!)

Need more peak to your biceps? That's exactly what we're working on today. Some will say it's all genetics but that just isn't the case, it plays a role but you can absolutely develop the long head of your bicep and get the look you want.
What I found is that a big part of training biceps effectively comes down to know exactly how to train the short and long head (as well as the brachialis) independently. If you're able to do that then you can dedicate specific time or an entire workout focusing on peaking out those arms.
It might sound excessive but I'm a firm believer that if you're lacking in a specific body part then why just add a set or two when you can dedicate an entire workout to it and cut down the time it takes to really see results dramatically.
Let me know you favorite exercise for them below and get after it!

Your humor is actually stand up class. Like it dry, like that. So hilarious. Even if I'm Swedish and have troubles following your fast talking. Besides. Your info is straight, accurate, and no wining long talk American bull shit and over informative, with just tooooo long explanations before coming to the point. Just perfect for an semi arctic Swedish older guy like me. I'm 60 and gained a lot of these tips. Thanks!

Dude you kill it every time! Keep doing your short videos, they work, I know there's a time and place for long drawn-out educated videos, but yours by far I love , less than 5 minutes and we get a little humor added to it, keep doing what you do!

I have had these for several weeks ru-vid.comUgkx8N-gevHZ6YWNoOYdRjL90vdbNyOKKHxL and I have been really happy with them so far. I love being able to do a variety of workouts at home when I don't have time to make it to the gym. When paired with a basic bench, there are tons of different exercises and you can hit pretty much all major muscle groups. It is easy to adjust to your desired weight with the dials on each side. They slide in and out of the cradle smoothly. The only downside to this design vs the newer version, is that these are pretty wide. This does limit your range of motion with certain hand positions on certain exercises. Straight dumbbell press would be an example of this. I have to turn my hands slightly in order to bring them close enough together. Not a huge deal to me though. Really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend.

I have been thoroughly enjoying your videos. Pretty much binging on them for two days. Great information on the bio mechanical reasons for these variations. What are the chances of a series of videos aimed at us older lifters (60) who are so beat up everything hurts? I see great potential value in finding ways to take some weight off the bar but still get results.

Did the one armed hammer curls using an incline bench with the rope and cable attachment four sets of 10 reps and than 10 more reps just one pin down / and the last exercise you did here EZ curl bar just like you did it 4 sets to failure. I'm totally spent frigging amazing didn't think biceps could be stimulated after 50 years old. Been 8 hours and the pain keeps intensifying. I love it.

Greetings Ryan, your techniques and the little twists are great to learn from, so thank you. I’ve been working out for about a year steady now and in the past in the youthful days and learned that slow motion but proper feel of the muscle is very important. But having a little problem with retracting my right shoulder blade correctly , so in turn my right chest is smaller then my left chest and I’m a righty. So if you could suggest a a exercise that will help that right shoulder retraction better when I bench please. I use the bowflex blaze and bumb bells to. I always liked the pulley system better then free weights. Just trying to feel good and of course be defined at 49 years. It’s great to learn from you.

Arms (bis especially) and back thickness are my biggest weaknesses. I'm on a legs, chest/shoulder/tris, back/bis split (twice/week, rest on Sunday) routine (arms always first in the workouts). I've switched to doing the basic ("meat and potato" movements in the first half of the week and then really isolating on the second half). So, for bis, I'm doing Ryan's workout with the seated cable curls (ascending/descending, which is absolutely IB enducing LOL, then I'm going focus on the outer peak only in my second bi work out of the week). See how that goes for about a month. Measure now then after. Ryan, we need a private FB group/community man!
