shouldn't u dilute the rosemary oil in a carrier oil ?? can u just apply it to the roots?
@IamJustOlena
@IamJustOlena 7 лет назад
I have never had any issues, I only use a few drops, but using a carrier oil like jojoba or coconut is definitely safer, looking back wish I mentioned that in the video. But thanks for bringing it up! Personally, it works for me and I only use that about once a week ( when I wash my hair) and I only leave it on 5-10 minutes and then wash my hair.

oooooh I gonna try it without diluting it

Did you cut/get regular trims during the period of time that you were growing out your hair?
@kylier8073
@kylier8073 7 лет назад
The only reason people dilute it is because it may be too strong for some people but that's not the case for everyone
@CarolynRosefolksnaturalliving
@CarolynRosefolksnaturalliving 7 лет назад
When using essential oils, they need to be diluted. Especially being put on somewhere as sensitive as your scalp. People may not notice an immediate issue, but over the years there is a strong possibility of your body becoming sensitized to the oil ( as in your body with have adverse reactions) I am currently in school for my Certification in Aromatherapy. Safe blending everyone :)

Prakriti Pokhrel a woman's identity should never be defined by something as insignificant as hair!!! hair can be shaved cut colored then you start all over again...some women chose to just keep it shaved & they're still beautiful❤️

tips that work for me: - get a hair cut when you start seeing split ends - try massaging castor oil/coconut oil onto roots and ends every 2-3 days - no heat - no hair dye - only wash when feels oily/dirty - silk pillowcase - use Nexxus shampoo & conditioner - use shampoo brush - use old t shirt/microfiber towel to dry hair after shower (gentler than regular towels) - brush from ends to roots, not roots to ends (unnecessary stress on roots) - gentle hair ties & hairbrush (scrunchies & Wet brush) - stay hydrated & eat healthy - take biotin supplement daily

The shampoo you recommended are with silicon’s. Maybe they make you hair in this moment smooth but when you use it for longer time they don‘t leave to get the moisture in you hair. That’s only a information that i can share with u to 100% because i notice it on my own hair.

My tips for long thick hair - don’t use silicone( for sulfate it depends on your hair type) - oil it every once and a while and make sure you find the right oil to use - try to wash your hair as little as possible I only wash mine every 4-7 days - don’t curl or straighten it much (I haven’t in over a year) - if you do color it don’t do it too much and make sure to take special care of it - obviously stay healthy (eat and drink right) -Use wooden brushes(it helps A LOT with frizz and moisture) I do this and my hair is VERY thick and it went from my ears to my waist in 2 years It MIGHT be my genes( I’m Native American) but these did help a lot 🥰🥰 hope this helps you too 🥰💞

@kiasfishies
@kiasfishies 7 лет назад
It is not safe to use any essential oil directly on the skin without a carrier oil. I am curious though how long have you used it like that? And youve had no side effects right? Besides beautiful hair, lol. Because that would be so much easier to do instead of coving your scalp in a lot more hard-to-get-out oil. Thanks

northeastern 001 yes it is really thick! i just put a little in a glass bowl and heat in microwave for 20 seconds, then divide my hair into sections, dip my fingers in the oil and massage it into my scalp. Also all over the rest of my hair in sections then use a wide tooth comb over it all, tie it up in a beanie cap and sleep overnight. It takes two washes to get it all out because it is so thick! I think it works mostly on breakage and mending split ends to help hair grow. Not exactly sure but since i been using it my hair is actually growing and it hasnt in 10 years!

Finally, a long haired RU-vidr who use isn't afraid of colouring their hair or using heat tools! So over the other long haired utubers who have boring, long hair that tends to look too Amish/old fashioned!
@Lola-yq6lg
@Lola-yq6lg 6 лет назад
dying your hair doesn't make it shorter or stop growing. it just grows slower because there is some breakage here and there. but if you take good care of it, it'll grow regardless. i was bleach blonde platinum all my life so i know what im talking about. also OLAPLEX IS YOUR BESTFRIEND. i spent a fortune on it. a hair stylist (which i paid over 2000$ to get worked on by) who is friends with kim kardashians stylist gave me all kinds of tips. he said most important is buying hair tools that lets you control the heat. he said it doesn't matter how much you take care of your hair, it WILL NOT grow and it WILL break and fall once you style your hair at a certain degree. no matter what you do. (the point is to never style hair at high heat....ever.) that being said, maybe you find you tubers who dont wanna use heat boring, but im gonna go with what kim kardashians hair stylist says :)
@sanjanabhat5032
@sanjanabhat5032 5 лет назад
Boring long hair? Natural hair is beautiful too! Dying hair DOES cause damage. It depends on the hair dye u use. Yeah, there r instances where people do dye their hair and it still is healthy. But calling natural hair "boring"....yeah well it's not very approving
@I_am_Ravenclaw
@I_am_Ravenclaw 5 лет назад
@@sanjanabhat5032I reckon, they are just bitter that to have an actually healthy and thick (not just long) hair, you really need to stop applying heat or bleach to it (they probably cannot live without it). and for the girl in the video - as many times as she said 'my thick hair', her hair isn't that thick. if you can curl your hair by dividing it into only 12 small sections, listen, your hair isn't as thick as you think. her hair is long and quite nice looking when styled. but before styling, when she brushed it out, you can see that the ends are really dry and damaged. so her hair quality ''speaks louder'' than her words

@@I_am_Ravenclaw yup thanks for telling me this :)
@anarhisms8315

Tecarmel DWhelan It depends on your hair type and your hair care routine. My hair only needs trimming once a year. I use a coconut oil from yves rocher (I think that is how you spell it) but I'm going to change to argan oil because my hair is ombré and my hair dresser advised me to use that oil.

What I found helped me was buying a new hair straightener and blow dryer. My hair dryer only had 2 settings and was basically frying my hair at every use. Get a multi temperature one. I also found my chi straightener was contributing to the frying. I've switched out both and haven't looked back. I like the Marc Anthony hair growth line. And put pure castor oil on my tips nightly, by morning it's been soaked into the hair. I also learned sleeping in a low ponytail helps drastically prevent matting and tangles. As well I use a car shammy on my hair and don't even bother with towels. Collagen and vitamin supplements also helped me

1. Rosemary(Helpful tip, but always dilute it) 2. Eggs(if you have protein sensitive hair this will dry out your hair) 3. Shampoos(chemicals=damage) 4. Macadamia mask (chemicals=damage) 5. Tshirts are abrasive and cause breakage. Use a microfiber wrap 6. Heat protection + hair oil with chemicals (heat protection is good, but doesnt erase the damage. Chemicals = damage) 7. Damage eraser garnier(chemicals= damage) 8. Blow drier, hurts hair. =damage All the products mentioned have chemicals and will hurt your hair. They include ingredients that make your hair look healthy and nice, but in reality they are making your hair more and more weak. When you grow your hair out you should not use products to make your hair look nice, but rather make it healthy. Products with chemicals will never not hurt the hair. This girl has long hair because of genes, not because of these tips. Only the rosemary oil is something you should take inspiration from. Trust me, I have ‘bad’ hair genes and if i did these things my hair would die in 2 weeks

Hey girl, i work at a hair care shop. You said that your hair tend to break/snap. If your hair is prone to breakage, its probably damaged from all the bleaching or any other sorts of treatments like heat. You should look into a protein treatment which helps strengthens the hair fibre! A really good one that i always sell is the Kerastase Therapiste mask, a lot of customers swear by it. And a tip to help the mask absorb into your hair is to towel dry your hair before putting on the mask! This way your hair isn't dripping wet and the mask is able to absorb better. Using a mask as a conditioner is really great too since its richer!

I also love the Coconut Water shampoo and conditioner and have accidentally bought the Coconut milk! Gah! I HAVE to wash my hair daily, I have a dirty greasy job. After 2-3 days of coconut water washes, I use a clarifying shampoo to get the grease and hydraulic oil out of my hair. I do cover some of my hair with a bandana most days... but sometimes it's just too hot and cumbersome.

Everyone’s hair is different. It might be too much for you but probably works for her. Especially based on how beautiful and healthy her hair is.

As a hairdresser I agree, way to many products. It will make her hair greasy quickly and to much product weighs the hair down. It makes it sticky and makes it look dirty. Too many products on the scalp will cause built up and stop the scalp being able to breath and can cause ingrown hairs. Yes she put too many products on her hair. It is the same with all types of hair, too many products on the hair is bad.

This video appeared on my home page. While watching it I thought "oh great. Just another pretty girl with pretty hair showing off (I have thin hair so I get jealous of you thick hair beauties). Then I saw the bloopers at the end and I was like "yes! A real person! Not just another show off"!!! 🤣👍🏻❤️ Love your kitty! I have a Ragdoll too that looks similar to yours!

Your hairstyle makes a bit difference. Making sure your hair is cut straight at the bottom and not scraggly or damaged, this will make the hair appear thicker. Graduated hairstyles are great for making it look thicker. Long layers make it appear thicker but not short layers if your hair is very thin. Straightening hair makes it look thinner and curls and waves make it look like there is more there. Tip your head upside down when you dry it then blast it with cold to give it volume this will make it look like more is there. Hope this helps a bit.

Heck yes Chantaje! Glad you mentioned the coconut water hair care. Last year when I went home for summer, my parents took me to Mexico to buy hair products. I have wavey but frizzy hair. I saw the coconut water and the coconut milk products and couldnt decide which to purchase, so I eventually ended up walking out empty handed. When I graduate and return home, I'll definitely be getting the coconut water series. Whoooo! P.S. loved watching the hair transformation vlog.

I swear by the macadamia hair mask. I wash my hair once a week and use it every time. It makes my hair feel so soft. I also use the leave in cream from them when my hair is damp and that works wonders. I also use the Organix oils on my hair and I love it, when my hair is wet, when its dry and staticky.

Tip: applying a small amount of purple semipermanent (direct) dye to your conditioner also will help cancel out yellow tones if you're blonde and the more you use it, the more purple tones you add to the hair 💜✨

maybe rosemary reminds you of your childhood because you or a neighbour had a rosemary bush? rosemary is also used in a lot of roast (lamb, chicken, beef etc) recipes. that might explain it. Rosemary reminds me of my childhood too

okay your hair is sooo beautiful and hopefully I can get mine like that too, I had a bad hair cut and dye experience so it has been a struggle for me, but the clip where you are washing your hair DONT scrub the ends like you were it causes friction opening the cuticles causing breakage. obviously thought your hair is wonderful and really healthy, totally not trying to be negative just helpful :)
