Wonderful everything, but what soil do you use. It's nice what you're sharing, and it looks good, what are using to mix, please can't you share the mixture you use.thank you God bless you richly 🙏 from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹
Cutting potato in pieces making sure each part has an eye on it. Then your seed potatoes go much farther. I used to work on a potato farm.and that is how we did it.
Great video, my family and I have recently started a small backyard garden. We're learning how to homecan, seed save, make compost, and preserve what we grow. Every penny saved helps. Less than 2 years in our new home and we've completely transformed the backyard. We are beginner gardeners, growing and learning along the way. Recently I started a gardening channel to help encourage others to begin growing as well. No time better than now to learn self sufficiency.
This video is excellent! We are beginners, so could you PLEASE write it out. How many potatoes for each container did you use and how much soil and what was the soil mixture you made? Did you mix the dirt with brown rice???
You can use 2-4 potatoes per 15 to 25 gallons container. Maybe around 5 inches of Compost, with a tiny bit of sand first, then good grade soil, then sprinkle some type of fertilizer (bone, fish meal, manure, etc) mixed into a layer of soil, then more soil, then some kind of mulch to help keep moist. That should get a good yield of potatoes. Don't over water but keep "moist". It'll be fine if it's not perfect 😉 Check RU-vid for many videos in English for planting potatoes. Have fun!
I saw you add manure and I assume rice husks to the soil but what was the white powder you added? Was it a nutrient of some sort, potassium, magnesium?
So true, you should write the ingredients that you are using., You show the package but the name is not clear because you take it away very fast so we don't see the name.please. thank you. Amén 🙏
Your videos are great but nobody can understand the products you are using. PLEASE go to someone who can translate this for your viewers. It's the MOST IMPORTANT thing you can do. Everyone knows how to plant potatoes but what fertilizer are YOU using? There is no such thing as ANTAGONIST MUSHROOM outside of your culture. So help us out here, PLEASE.....
Interesting video and very helpful but, What is his mixture of dirt for planting the potatoes? What was sprinkled to the dirt after plants are present?
This is great I’ve had nothing but bugs when I tried to grow potatoes because my son lives near bodies of water and the bugs are atrocious. So I want to know what you’re putting in there I don’t I can’t tell what you’re putting in I don’t know if you’re putting diatomaceous earth if you’re putting some kind of nutrients it would really help to have it in your own language and let them translate it or something
I I've this but more details plz. Why rice husk, what are you adding to the soil mid stream and what was the white stuff. Also explanation of what direction the potatoes go into the soil after they start to root??? More details
Looks like he added worm castings (black) and rice hulls (light brown) to native soil (dark brown). I'm guessing he's spraying the leaves with neem oil.
@jamesmorgan7651 I'd guess that the darker material he added to the soil dumped out of the 5 gallon buckets was composted manure. I've never seen worm castings sold like that, packaged in a printed plastic bag, at a garden center or hardware store. But maybe they're available that way where you live. ???
