My god man... You are the bees knees! THANK YOU! after 10 years of my launch 3g Vita having a broken screen, your easy to follow guides have inspired me to finally fix it and mod it. There are many other tutorials out there but you sir, are the only one iv seen to break it down simply and also go above and beyond on how to use the sd2vita, use the applications, and install everything. So finally, I can enjoy my $400 handheld again.

Thanks alot breh. Got my oled vita on CFW 😁 Only problems I ran into was I did it with my 64gb memory card chock full off apps so I had the max 100 bubbles that the vita can display at once. This prevented the Vita deploy app bubble and the Vitashell ITS installer bubbles as well so if anyone is in my position wipe 5 or so bubbles so they can generate when rebooting since alot of the times these processes rebuild your database and all your bubbles will be randomly sorted which sucks balls upon reloading. To anyone getting the 0x80010005 error message when copying over the files which I was getting. Use the FULL install of YAMT instead of the LITE version and make sure to keep the screen on. Yep! That means no idling to dim screen or even screen off. It has to stay on which I managed to do by holding my vita with my thumb on the screen at all times so it senses touch whilst watching a movie and YT since copying over 64gb takes over 5 hours. Kick ass info. Debating on doing this to my 2000 model tonight. Curious as to how much free space needed to install all these mods. I know I can just download games I own again, but I have a 64gig card damn near full, and an empty 8gig. Looking into the adapter now. Awesome vids 👍

Thanks for the detailed instructions, have a few questions, does VitaDeploy install to memory card or vita memory? what happens when I remove the memory card used during the installation? I have PS Plus games spread across multiple memory cards and wondering if I would be able to use those post jailbreak.

Just purchased a vita for the first time (1000 series) with an 8gb Sony memory card. Is it advisable to not jailbreak using this card and go the sd2vita route? With a 1000 series if you swap out the memory card do you lose your jailbreak? Sorry if these are noob questions just trying to understand the optimal path.

Do you use Autoplugin 2 at all? I have the double tap issue with Adrenaline and I was told Autoplugin 2 has a fix but I'm not seeing any newer videos about it. Didn't know if you recommend it or if you have a better solution?

Hey, love the video - but what may be a dumb question. I have a 1000 which I just purchased and love it. If I mod it to play emulators, specifically some older PSP games, can I continue to play original Vita carts? I've read different things online, so want to be sure if it's worth it. I have a couple PSPs, so I'm not sure if I want to lose the ability to play regular games if I happen to pick one up. Thanks!

Quick question - if I sign into the psn on a fresh device before hacking, and play any items obtained via pkgj, will any trophies earned synch with the psn correctly, or are those incompatible with running cfw?

Why does it have to be full of charge? Cant I just do it while it is charging?

Question is: Can i do a factory reset and mod it again myself using your video? Reason is I checked the PKGj and it said on certain games that it wont work as i need to update my Vita. Just to let you know i had an issue with getting vita deploy but that could just be me being an idiot, But i think you forgot to mention you have to press "Install vitadeploy"

The only problem i have is having to hard restart because the app I'm trying to open refuses to do so creating a endless loop of trying to open

Aftrer installing henkaku, it just shuts off and no khenkaku setings sgow up. vita deploy does show up though

So after everything and pkgj and adrenaline I downloaded 2 games went to open one of the games and now my screen froze and I tried to restart it and now it’s just showing a losing symbol and flashing a green light. What can I do to fix this ?

On edge to do this. Will my PSN account be safe? While doing the jailbreak (Because am going to connect it while modding) downloading games and DLC's from PKGJ, installing custome themes, using Adrenaline and playing android ports like GTA San Andreas ? So seeing as I have no hacking experience what does this do for the Vita? Does that mean you're able to download games for free?

I just finished doing this downloaded 3 games then the screen turned black and the loading circle keeps loading😢

I am using psvita 1000 and it's on 3.68 and already installed h-encore. If I installed the vita deploy and downgrade to 3.65 enso will my data will be corrupted such as games and save data etc?.

i lost where i was a few times, and had to do the Vitadeply step like 3 times, because i did the "replace near" but it didnt download properly/replace properly? but when i hit normal download, nothing appeared, but i have a memory card...i think i know what i gotta do, just hope i dont have to do this EVERY TIME because i have a memory card and ive been following every step to a T >.> Edit: i figured it out, must've not clicked what i had to originally, but im back on track and i got to completion, huge help and a LOT simplier then when i did this to my new 2ds XL

after a few days my vita deletes henkaku and i can't play games i installed with PKGJ. i now installed enso 3.65 cause i have 3.65 fw. i installed with help from your older video where you installed with pc and a filezilla client. i hope everything is actually permanent now. i did all the steps shown in this video. any other things to make sure everything stays like this forever?

i think my vita is fucked, it stays on the henlo screen after i download it and is stuck on "exiting in 3" it gives solutions if it’s stuck on the screen but when i try those henkaku doesn’t show up in my settings
