How To Hack Hidden Audio 20 Equalizer Menu In Your Mercedes C-Class W204 

First step you need to do is check if you have volume boost enabled on your radio 2) adjust balance to one speaker ex:FrontPassenger at a time 3) enter engineering mode (1,end 📞 ,#) 4) enter sound menu and select speaker ex:(FrontLeft) adjust sound personal preferences 5) when adjusting high/low pass slope filters (06/12) make sure to pause music playing when setting new slope settings

Brother I need a quick help. I have 2014 c350 and the interface is little different. So many things on the screen but ai can't locate sound

i normally put more bass in the rear by lowering the lpf filter and tune the fader +1 to the rear so i get more bass out the rears and keep the fronts focused on highs ,thats how mine is setup but its all up to you bro 😎

If you only have audio in one door speaker , mercedes has a cutoff feature if your infotainment system has a malfunction or a speaker is blown it will cut all power to avoid short , check fuses , then speakers , last option would be your actual radio interface that would need to be replaced start from the cheapest option to the last source

Im sure upgrading the speakers will help with the quality of the sound, these settings are to help dial in the sound quality for the speakers that you have at the moment

Yeah its just for non harman kardon people, my friend at work has a coupe with harman kardon and my system sounds way better haha glad it worked out for you!

if you have the facelift , open the center arm rest if you will either have a aux port entry or usb entry and if you have a iphone it will play the music through USB , or check the glove compartment on the passenger side panel sometimes they are tucked away and you gotta fish em out

My friend had the 08 c300 and he was able to adjust the settings for the equalizer , i also know that the pre facelift has a software update (at dealership) that raises the potential of the entire stereo system but idk how much it costs , my friend luckily had a recall for a seatbelt and they did the update for free because they had to update the software anyways for the seatbelt but it really all depends on the tech you get too .

Grade/Q is like a limit so it doesn’t distort at higher volume, so normally i turn it all the way up and press the down button once down so i can adjust the grade/q individually at high volume

the thing is that its hard cause the settings dont change until you (SET) each one as you adjust it , it doesnt change as you go up and down if you get what im saying

@@BC2FITTY my equalizer menu doesn’t exist…. It has a totally different menu than what yours shows. The equalizer wasn’t an option

Go to the system tab and click on settings and it should have a box to activate Bluetooth if not check engineering mode settings and activate it in there

Are you running a aux cord or a external aux source ?

And bass for front and rear is fine because door speakers are all mid bass speakers so it should be fine

i downloaded this free app called EverMusic on iPhone and I play all my music thru there , it comes with a built in equalizer and pre amp so you can turn it up and adjust volume , you just have to download the music separately unless you have iTunes , in my case i just converted RU-vid to mp3 music

You can also just buy a signal booster that fits between device and the aux in port , in the glove box.

If your screen still works and turn on then yes you can adjust the settings but if you cant hear anything from the radio then you wont be able to hear the actual difference

Yeah you shouldnt press the control know its the (CLR) button you hold , but thats before you access engineering mode

@@BC2FITTY I checked again and found out that I have NTG6 specifications. And keyless go and basic audio options i don't have a burmester

So you don’t have the dialpad right ? Its just the center knob and touch lever ? Also what year ?

Cause I can access the dealer menu and the engineering mode I was able to access it on my brothers Benz that has the NTG 5.5 or 6 cants remember but it’s the same thing I believe lmk

It allows you to fine tune the audio frequencies, for example if you want a more deep bass at high volume but the highs get distorted and don’t sound clear you can adjust these frequencies to your personal preference and honestly get the most out of your stock Mercedes audio system .

Press Red/Hang Up ( 📞 , 1 , # ) at the same time and hold for about 5 seconds and it should take you to this menu

@@BC2FITTY I'm in the UK I think this has a different menu....I do what u say it takes me to the menu but no sign of the eq

I have the standard system as well , find the sound option and go bottom of equalizer , (sometimes its not activated) and with the center control knob press where it says (flat) and youll be able to tune each filter

Once you change the frequency you have to click set on the bottom for each filter and the after your done setting all 4 filters for that side speaker , then press back on center knob and adjust the low/high pass filter as well if not then they wont save , then move on to next speaker side accordingly
