Drive a Hybrid Sienna. Clean it daily, 41MPG, comfy, room. Run XL/Comfort only ALOT. Everybody comments on the cleanliness. People want cleanliness! Equals tips. Nice surge breakdown. They can be time killers. I don't chase surges, but know when and where they typically occur. Shop for cheaper gas. Saving $3.50 on a fillup equals revenue... about $50 per gallon in my pax wagon. Got my real estate license, drone pilot license, and read Sherlock Holmes. Gonna write a crime novel based on all the wacky pax... Be consistent early in the week and it adds up. Keep pushing because you will rally from crappy days and really cash in on the unicorn days. Know where to fish. 4to6 am airport runs equal $$$.

BEST vehicle for Uber X hands down is the Toyota Camry XLE trim. VERY reliable, super comfortable, leather seats = easy to keep clean, large trunk for luggage and gas mileage is about 34.5 between city and highway, more if you're just on the highway, less if your driving just in the city.

@@majorsclosettv7934 Ford has quality issues, Toyota does not. Just like some Ford's, the Camry is made in the United States as well, at least it's assembled there anyway. My Camry now has 178,000 miles with ZERO issues aside from routine maintenance. I will never buy another GM, Fiat or Ford product again, I've been burned way to many times in the past. Even Ford's own CEO admitted they can't build quality cars.

Like others in the comments, I've Uberred with a Prius for years and never had an issue. They have way more trunk space than your average Sedan unless we're talking the Prius C.

Excellent advice about the early morning driving and late nights on the weekends. I have also observed that is the best times to drive. And I observed the same thing with the late week nights. I’m in Chicago and it definitely rings true here.

The best car option for rideshare is the PriusV. Its fuel efficient, and has a bigger trunk space and leg room than the regular Prius. They no longer make them But you can get a used one for under 15k. The only trade off is lack of power.

A couple of times on lyft I’ve pulled up and press arrive and I notice passengers fiddling on there phone and when they get in there’s all of a sudden a stop on a short ride .is this a new scam ..they wait till you press arrive and when they get message your there they add stop and app doesn’t inform you because you already arrrived then there in car and appp announced this ride has a stop.

you do not want to finance a car to do rideshare, you can put 100,000 miles in a year. you will need to replace the car after 100,000 miles. when you finance it will be financed over 3-5 years. it make no sense. you need to make enough money to save for the next car and pay all the care for the curerent care

Zones, guarantee, and streaks are for Lyft and he says for Uber? Still great video, I’m upgrading soon from my 15 accord to mdx 2020. Surges on Uber, biggest one I’ve seen was 24, usually only 3 in Orlando. Too many people trying to work rideshare here!

I’m in Orlando, Fl and I’m averaging 30/hr based on the solo app statistics. Solo’s avg in Orlando is 18 or so per hour. I would not do it for that price, 30/ hour minus expenses is what, just around 20. Disney pays its food service workers that much. I need to switch over I guess.

He's completely wrong about xl vs other levels. You don't let more people ride than you have seat belts for, no exceptions. x and comfort makes you drive farther for less, UNLESS there is a good surge bonus.

I drive a Prius. After 2000 rides, I have never, not once had an issue fitting luggage in the trunk. There was one time I had to put a suitcase in passenger seat also, but no big whoop. That was really silly advice.

if you want to get more mpg in any vehicle but a can of spray lube at dollar tree or dollar general 8 oz for like $2.50 spray in tank before fill up and increase MPG 2 - 5 mpg also f course DO NOT sppeed in any area strat off slow light pressue on pedal and stop lightly tap brakes i had problem in my dodge caliber in 2016 gas float would drop to empty when idling spray lube fixed the problem fast one time late night i drov e up to parx casino half a tank done at abut 2 am decided to go atlantic city filled up in jersey only 8 gals well thtas 21 miles plus 65 more and 65 miles back i still had almost 1/2 a tank when got home and wife angry as ya know

Great video content, as always. Maybe you know the answer to this. Please help. Why are the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and the 2024 Mazda CX 90 PHEV not allowed to drive for Uber XL? On the website of Uber, the list of eligible vehicles for the Uber XL in Calgary is limited to the Mitsubishi Outlander regular version non-PHEV and the Mazda CX 9 regular version non-PHEV as well. But both the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and the 2024 Mazda CX 90 PHEV are 7-seater SUVs. Also, the Mazda CX 9 is going to be replaced by the Mazda CX 90 MHEV. Any answer to this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

May be that they're new and untested. I know the reviews on the Mazda so far are that it's got a clunky transmission so u might want to wait for them to rectify that in future model years. The 1st model year of a new vehicle is usually the one to avoid buying.

If you wanna hack Uber or Lyft is pretty simple pick up the customer and cancel them and get payed cash or zelle and save the customer 5-10 bucks on every trip because remember Uber and lift don’t want you to make over 26-30 an hour regardless while they charge customers 30-50 for a 30 min trip and only pay you a third of that on average they take 50% of the top and when is busy they take up to 80% Lmao so if you really wanna hack them you just need to get the customer in your car and ask them if they wanna save money!!!

Love the video. It is comforting to know my 2018 Tiguan was at least close to a good candidate for Uber. It has the same 5 seat config, but more trunk space. I opted to not have 3rd row seats, they are too small to be practical and leave no trunk space despite the wheelbase increase over the years. I do not have that amazing fuel economy, though it is still bearable. I find the increase in height and the suspension helps in the Northern climates here and does increase comfort. The space is great, and the power I have on demand helps beat rush hour traffic. Great video!

That's interesting. In Australia for the first five months I regularly received quest which would be an extra 150 bucks per week. Haven't had it since in the next 5 months . I think it's ubers way of luring you in to start with and once you have done a certain amount of time on the road they take it off you. Also opportunities are only given to night time drivers which I won't work as I drive a premium car.

Best advice for Uber. Since I no longer can afford to drive for Lyft. Drivers, if you have monthly expenses above $1000 you will go broke doing rideshare. Set a goal of $50-$100 per day driving 4-6 hours. Anything beyond is unrealistic and becomes a burnout.
