HOW TO HACKMONS 

Since so much happens in Hackmons and its hard to keep up, I figure it would be helpful to answer some of the common questions I'm seeing about some of the pokemon: The Buzzwole has the ability Triage, which gives a +3 priority to healing moves, including drain punch and leech life, and this is how it outspeeds everything. The Yveltal set later in the video was also triage. The Kartana was serene grace, which is why Iron Head got so many flinches. Double Iron Bash would be more ideal flinch and damage wise, but it is actually banned from Balanced Hackmons. Chansey is used with Imposter since it keeps it's HP stat, and eviolite still boosts defenses even after the transform. That's how it lived the Power Trip at 8:00, while the actual Spectrier didn't. The Porygon-Z at the end had the ability Punk Rock, which boosts sound moves. If there are any other questions about the sets here, feel free to ask! Make sure to check out Ploppy's channel too! How to make a balanced hacked mons team >make full baton pass team >get hit with spectral thief >cry

My favorite set I came up with is a defensive (first one that came to mind was zamazenta-crowned but fire coverage is pretty common so I’m looking at other ideas) mon with soundproof, anchor shot, perish song, a protect clone and a recovery move. Soundproof also has an extra benefit in that it fs up every special normal attacker. Doesn’t work as well high ladder with all the pivoting moves like teleport, and chansey is just a pain when it copies it, but it’s usually able to get more than 1 ko. This all depends on your ladder ranking

Stall reshirsm is my favorite hackmon. Nuzzle, willowisp, king shield, taunt. Toxic orb +posion heal. Only weak to ground, rock, and dragon

I had an extra slot on my main Hackmons team, so I gave it to a Guzzlord with Quick Claw and Magic Bounce. People tend to rage quit 70% of the time after I either kill their first mon or reflect a taunt with Magic Bounce.

Correction: how to play low ladder hackmons (prankster haze is everywhere, and even if triage bypasses prankster, it doesn’t actually hit that hard, like a ho-oh can tank literally every physical triage affected ability, and almost no one uses special triage, but a simple defensive zamazenta would easily tank 2 hits of a +2 SpA xurkitree since parabolic charge is 65 BP. And excluding all that, there’s chansey imposter that’s everywhere and that can simply reverse sweep your whole team. So yeah, any « high/mid » ladder player wouldn’t use any stat boosting move, at least not like geomancy simple or belly drum, they make you commit too much for it, a shift gear on one or two Pokémon can be good, especially for an end of game sweep scenario, but yeah, Pokémon with +6 everywhere just, aren’t present in high/mid ladder)

tips for anyone who thinks they can copy teams and get to 1500: imposter proof the first 2 sweepers. triage sweepers especially have a lot of trouble with imposter- you can use multi attack or judgment to hit imposter chantey. mewtwo is totally countered by prankster hazers so give it at least some form of priority like maybe shadow sneak to hit giratina pretty hard
