I practice Kyokushin Karate and my hair grew long during the summer, after todays kumite my hair was all over my face hah. I don't wanna cut it yet, so I will try this next time. How many knots do you recommend for it to be safe enough for fighting without the hair falling out? Great tutorial!

i never put product in my hair, and it's much longer on top than yours, but now don't have any problems bunning. When it was shorter, it definitely would have been more helpful to put product in it.

I got that native american/white hair mix so my hair is really wierd. Im just going to grow it out and do hanshiro tsugumo's hair, i dont think i can pull yours off lol.

Mine goes just past my nose too but it's not quite long enough. Also my hairline isn't neat. Barber fucked it a few years ago so I hav some hair growing out a lot shorter than the rest if you get me. Shall in keep shaving that clump of hair or grow it out?

is it ok to get an underfade on the sides and back while still waiting for the top part to grow out? my hair reaches to about the bridge of my nose, so not quite where you said to have it. but the sides and back are getting too unruly for me and idk if i can push off getting the sides cut any longer

the problem with top knots, you more likely will speed up the balding process cus the pressure pull its constant towards the back and not letting the hair relax into its natural form so that means fully extreme stretch and if the persons doesn't have any good diet, or has a poor diet and lifestyle, drinking, alcohol and smoking will even make the hair much weaker and will speed up the process for the balding look, all this Top Knots most majority you will see their foreheads getting bigger and bigger cus keeping the hair pull stretch constantly.. either way you can still do top knots but don't put too much tension stretch to your hair if you have a very lousy poor diet or bad habits in your lifestyle, remember your hair structure all comes from your lifestyle and diet.. the elasticity of your hair might take a risk to brake up easily pulling hair roots every day and your forehead will increase higher and higher.. you will notice the size of your forehead increase within a year or 2..
