How To: Hand Painted Tiger Portrait on Short Nails

In today’s video, I will show you how to paint a Snow Tiger in Gel Polish and then finish off the set. I'll start with the base coat then I'll add some of the Netty Gel to the thumb and pinky and I'll follow that up with Lisa-Lisa on the index and ring finger I'll create a curve shape along the outer edge with Netty and then give the nail a full cover layer of Lisa-Lisa and on the middle finger ill give a coat of just the Lisa Lisa and then ill go over that with the matte top-coat so my mechanical pencil we take.
Now I’ll draw out a 3x3 grid on the nail to match the 3x3 grid I have layered over my reference image and transfer the pencils.
Now I can paint out the tiger I’m starting in the middle of my contrast range with grey and creating a silhouette of the design that I can then add contrast to using black and white I'll paint in the fur with tapping motion and switch between black and white as needed then ill use the black to create the markings and give definition around the face and then ill go back to the white and add detail ill use Dan for the Tigers Nose and then for the eyes ill use Lucy and void and also a touch of Night Glow a blue glow in the dark gel polish.
I'll finish the set off with some black and white lines on the index and the ring finger and I'll add some stars to the blue areas using the Night Glow Gel then I can seal everything in and that’s it! I hope you enjoyed the video and I’ll see you in the next one! T’Rah Duck!
