A participant in my "Mastering Modbus R485 Network Communication" course was faced with integration a legacy device that had an RS485 port with 4 signal terminals when it was supposed to be the usual 2 signal terminals (the standard for RS485). This video describes the solution I gave to him. [Runtime = 6 mins]

can you suggest any 2 to 4 way converters. I cant find any on google.

great video again- if converter was not available is it possible to compensate for lack of high impedance on the master receivers while sending just by ignoring these signals either in specific time window eg 10ms or by some filter?
