I liked the video, but it seems like you just put the anchors wherever you felt like it. It's not clear if you measured or did anything to make sure that they were level to each other. Did you do a step that wasn't recorded or did I miss something?

Hey Steve! Thanks for watching. We didn't show the measuring but Danny makes sure to speak about it near the beginning of the video right around the 0:36 mark where he mentions being a specific level off the ceiling and window sill. Hope that helps!

Tip-- place a use toilet paper card board behind each loop. It gives it a better rounded look. Also, adding 2 more curtain panels to make it fuller

Nothing more classy than toilet paper cardboard hanging behind your curtain. Surely, that's what they do in high end hotels as well

Video was great, short to the point. I liked the additional info of the amount of inches above and to the side of the window. I have 9’ ceiling with floor to ALMOST ceiling windows. Maybe 2 feet between. How many inches would i use above? Lastly, do you have a video explaining HOW determine the right spot to drill. I’m terrified I’ll mess up… never done this before and doing alone. Thank you.

I didn’t notice if you measured before you mounted your brackets... Maybe you were wearing bionic glasses with a built-in tape measure and level because you actually broke out the level after you mounted the brackets.....

didn't hit a stud and also did not use a drywall anchor so what is holding them??? just going to pull out and land on the floor in a week- month or too.

exactly my comment. that is a terrible way to hang curtain rods. not a long term solution at all.

I have the exact same hangers. .. Only thing I don't like is how far the hangers put the curtains.. Mine are adjusted all the way in and still don't like how far the curtains actually hang from windows. .

no, but i would make sure I had a stud to screw into, not the gib board, thats gonna make it too weak.

How far from the ceiling would I measure to install floor to ceiling curtains on an 8’ wall?

Hello, it depends on the height of the curtains. Typically you want the curtains all the way to the floor and roughly 8 to 12 inches from the ceiling

You did NOT show any measurements on how to ensure that the two brackets are level? Why skip that step? How did you find the studs? Missing parts, why?

It's too high the curtain is four to 5 inches from the ground

Hey Christopher -- thanks for watching. For us, we prefer it to be a bit higher as it makes it easier to clean the floors underneath and so dirt doesn't stick to the bottom of the curtains. It's totally based on preference but we definitely appreciate your feedback!

Lame - if I try to hang anything by eyeing it it would NOT be straight. I was hoping to see how to measure and make sure it's straight - oh well I'll find something else

im always a little sceptical about anybody hanging curtain rods without using the studs in the wall. The way you have done it is not really a long term solution. there is also no way you could hang your body off that curtain rod like you are showing...
