Thank you to Skillshare for partnering with me on today's video 🤍 skl.sh/bethgracemoore03221 The first 1,000 people to use this link will get a 1 month free trial of Skillshare!
I've had a few questions about how to "balance it all" after having a baby for the mums that are still trying to maintain a clean house, keep the fridge full, see friends, get work done etc... While it's important to remember that "balance" isn't a real thing (we can't give our 100% in all areas ALL the time), I hope these tips + tricks that I've picked up along the way can help you be more productive! I LOVE a good checklist and accomplishing the things on my to-do list and pray that this video can give you some ideas on how to create routine. 💗 Any day you spend caring for you and your babies is a productive day!!

I'm due in 3 weeks and I'm taking notes! I want to get back on my game as soon as possible (after giving myself time to rest of course) and these tips are so helpful.

I had to smile about laundry. We are a family of 7, and one load per day is not enough!

Definitely not a laundry everyday kind of gal either. Or waking up before babe - I salute all the mommas that make this happen! However, making a priority list has been so key and keeping a loose routine day to day. Thanks for sharing

It’s such a struggle - going to look like a 5:30 am wake up call for the next while with Viv’s new morning routine 🤪 love a good priority list!

Loved your tips in this video! ✨ I definitely feel a lot of pressure at two months to have a routine perfectly down. But I know logically, that’s not realistic to expect right away and it will come with time! I think your tips will help me feel like I have a little more of a grasp on things though 💙 Random and very niche question 😅 do you have any recommendations for filming for RU-vid? Do you film during naps or do you have someone watch your little one in order to get it done? I’m feeling stressed about staying consistent… But then also feeling guilty for focusing on that when I have a newborn. (I want to build my RU-vid channel so I can have MORE time with my baby!) Mom guilt is real! Really really appreciate your video ❤

Totally agree with all of these (except I’m a laundry every day gal haha)! Another thing that has been game changing for me is doing a baby meal subscription service (Tiny Organics). I totally thought these were way too expensive at first (and they are lol) but once baby boy was eating 3 meals a day it’s been sooo helpful to not home cook every single meal. Lunch is usually a meal from the subscription and then breakfast and dinner are homemade and it’s a great balance for us. I’d rather cut out that money elsewhere in our budget for my sanity haha

I’m sure I will reach that stage haha 😂 I had NO idea that even existed - deff need to look into that because I spend a wild amount of time prepping baby meals right now!

What is your routine for eat play sleep? How do you get them to sleep without relying on feeding?? Thanks!

I’m not Beth but I changed this habit when my son was 5 months old so maybe I can help! Basically I started offering him my breast when he was awake, then I would top it up with either pumped milk or formula (my baby was mix fed). Then I would just not offer to feed when it was time for him to sleep, either rocking him or putting him in his strolling bassinett to fall asleep, or asking dad to get him to sleep. If baby takes a pacifier you can use it to help with that. It took us 4-5 days to get baby used to the new rythm of his wake windows but it was a huge game changer ❤️ good luck with your baby ❤️

Honestly I literally put my daughter down with a few toys so I could watch her and worked around her cleaning, it won’t hurt them to be in the floor within eyes shot to see what they are doing at 17 months now she just chases me while I clean and “tries” to help. Wearing baby is helpful but back straining the bigger they get. I chose not to wear my baby I got scared when I seen moms with the first babies wanting to be held 24/7, now at 17 almost 18 months she is independent and has learned how to “help” doing chores or tries to anyway
