When you wanna know their profession, instead of asking "What do you do?" you could say "you look like a fashion designer" Remember to not make these statements racist. For example, do not tell a person "You look like someone who's from Africa" just because their skin is dark. Making these assuming statements instead of asking questions also makes the conversation fun and interesting. 2) Exaggerating Anytime you exaggerate something, the conversation becomes interesting. For example, You're at a party and see a bored girl. You can go up to her and open the conversation with "You look like you're really bored. Are you here on your own will or have your friends dragged you forcefully with a rope?" You could also say this after a mini small talk. If a girl seems to be happy, you could say "you seem so excited, have you robbed a bank?" or "you seem so excited it looks like you just cleared IIT" 3) Question + Exaggeration Ask a question with an exaggerated assumption. For example, instead of asking "What do you do?" ask "What do you do, apart from talking to cute guys?"
