Ben, you turned to the right place.....the truth of Scripture and a man of God explaining it.......and to prayer to Jesus Christ. I just prayed what Jimmy Evans suggested......for your mom and for you: that God opens doors that no man can close and He closes doors that no man can open.....until your mom and you are in His perfect will. I’m sorry for your tears. What a wonderful son you are. Idk what’s the matter, but keep serving her and giving love the best you can. You must love her very much, to post this request. Tell her you love her and need her. Hopefully that will give her the desire to keep on going and keep trying. It must look really hard now, but imagine God’s hand open in front of you.... take one disappointment out of your heart at a time.....take that one thing out of your heart and now put it in God’s hand. I told my kids that it’s like taking the worms out of the worm-bucket in their heart. Try your best to keep it empty. Thank God anyway for it (bc He allowed it to come into your life) and then give it to Him. Forgive yourself or anyone else who helped it be bad. (Be honest, and ask God to help you forgive.) Now go to the next thing that comes to your mind, and put it in God’s hand. Even if it’s good.....that’s when you say Thank You to Him. Keep doing this and emptying your heart of the sadness and the worries. God says He keeps all our tears in a bottle. He has you tight in His hand. Your mom, too. Never, never give up on God. He has big, wonderful plans for you. Ask God to bring good Christians into your life that you can stay close to. You are a great guy, Brad. Vivian Chan I’m so sorry that you’re going through this. Listen, hun, GOD loves you very much. He wouldn’t just drop this on you and leave, he has your back BEYOND what you can imagine. I know it hurts, but maybe this certain situation wasn’t good for you and he removed it for your benefit. Call upon him because he is ALWAYS near! Matthew 11:28 says to come to Jesus so that he can give you rest. He will, indeed give you rest and that peace you seek. Psalms 27:14 also says do wait on him and be of good courage so that he will strengthen your heart. He will never leave you, NEVER! Continue to ask God if the situation was right. Don’t continue to fix the situation when it’s not yours to fix. The battle is that of the Lord’s! God bless you hun! I hope you find clarity! 🙏🏾❤️

Do you read the Bible everyday? Are you just talking to God or having a conversation with God? Are you listening to God? I prayed to God to talk to me then I started reading His word everyday. I was also very intentional with the kind of stuff I was watching, people I was interacting with, the kind of music I was listening to and at the time I was reading a really good book on Faith in God. I did not for a second think that I would ever get to "hear" God speaking to me.

@@KaRiNa-pj9sb Ka Ri Na No problem at all. It's difficult to explain. I didn't "hear" God's voice the same way you hear people talking everyday but I felt it in my spirit. After a week of reading the Bible, meditation and continuously praying, I felt peace. Everything I read in the Bible, the people I interacted with and the experiences I had all came together perfectly like a Puzzle. I realized this at the end of the week and yes it did really freak me out at first but it definitely strengthen my faith. God doesn't "speak" to us like in the old testament, Jesus left us the Holy Spirit and so we get our conviction through the Holy Spirit. Sorry for writing too much.
