thats whats up dude!!!! i know i'm a bit late. but i would recommend the good ol butter cup. after learning bris, butter cups are the next super impressive trick that i would recommend. if you haven't seen my tutorial on it yet heres a link to how to butter cup: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Be9pR53nxQs.html
i'm not going to lie. that is a trick that i have never mastered. But i will definitely make a tutorial on it once i've put more time into learning them and dialing in all the fundamentals. (i don't even wanna make a tutorial on a trick that i don't fully feel like i understand, i'd hate to build a incorrect foundation to a trick from lack of knowledge)
I have been riding ski the whole time I've been riding scooters and I whip to the left but it's always because I've had a really small deck for me and couldn't ride any other way. recently I've upgraded and now I am learning how to ride goofy haha. It's pretty weird riding goofy but I'm getting a lil more used to it
@@ChaseRost yeah dude, for sure! I after 2 weeks of doing so (since I commented) I can easily say it is 100x more comfortable and easier do stuff hahah. I wish I started earlier
what if i ride goofy but i do the heel whip regular i learned a heel whip thinkin it was a tail whip but i ride goofy but when its time to do the trick i switch to regular and do it and it makes it hard becuse i cant bunny hop goofy?? anyone got advice?
yes that is ok. the most important thing to make sure you are doing tho is catching the deck regardless when it come around. now in the long run it will most likely be easier to catch with your back foot, especially when it comes to tricks like bris and buttercups. but totally still ok to do it the way you are. i would just recommend trying to get both feet on at the same time that way as your progress to harder tricks you'll still be able to catch your whip with ease.
Am Kingsten scooter from Uganda but the problem is that scooter riders r few..so am always depressed....lyk I ask myself that if I become a pro scooter rider within months how will I be able to show my tricks and hardwork ...bro. just give an inspiration
Exactly! while you practice the step kick catch motion, try to make sure you are bringing your front foot back onto the deck. Building up this muscle memory on ground will help you dramatically when you are in the air. your front foot will eventually learn how to make its way back to the deck if you practice it enough just on the flat ground.
Good eye man, it sure is backwards. Riding your fork backwards has a few pros that i absolutely love. i actually get asked about riding my fork backwards so much that i made an entire youtube video about it. hope this help explain why my forks are backwards. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8MPmGUFBLvI.html
Good eye man! having my fork backwards helps with a couple tricks like nose manny’s and foot jams. Also it helps minimize speed wobbles when pumping super fast. its just something i've always done since i started scootering. i always tell riders is a free hack they can try and if they don't like it, then they can always switch it back.
i used to have this same problem with heel whips. the way i fixed it is by practicing the motion in front of me more. after awhile i was able to comfortably keep the scooter in front of me better. you also can try to push the scooter slightly to the left more at the take off that way its forced under you instead of to the right of you. hope this helps, definitely lmk if you still are having any troubles.
i got you dude! Definitely check out this tutorial i made on how to tailwhip. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H_OpSQ2nT0c.html Hope this helps. Definitely let me know if your still struggling at all with tailwhips
@@ChaseRost Hey I got whips consistently now, I can do them on cribs and off cribs. the video helped me a lot. Thank you for the video!!! Know learning heelwhips.
How’s the progress kid? I’ll tell ya took me three years of riding scooters before I got tailwhips clean. You’ll get any trick you want if you’re determined
