Applying that caulking gave me flashbacks of applying Sikaflex when I was installing my Solar Panel and Roof Hatch... It was near 0°C so the caulking was stiff as heck.

The perforated vinyl is really great for keeping the heat down. I've used it for a few years now.

A new Van!!? Can't wait to see this build and you know I'm your biggest fan of your last build. The window is amazing and your truly creative. Take Care and Stay Safe.

Outstanding Tutorial! I like how detailed your tips and clear narration are in this video. Best I have seen regarding window install, and I have watched several. Your attention to detail and what you shared here is VERY good and helpful. Well done. Will subscribe to see more.

THICC urethane! You should really consider doing some sort of van build design consultation thing, you're always coming up with really good and unique ideas.

@@OutdoorsEmbrace Word, I am excited already! It was your gaming setup in Great White that convinced me that van life could be comfortable with all the luxuries! Honestly, if a van life van doesn't have a TV or games, it's like what's the point? Gotta have premium entertainment inside the van!!!

I'm working on the consistency thing a bit lately. I'm trying to streamline the way I record and edit a bit more so it's not such a challenge for my ADHD mind hahaha. I think right now I could get in 2 videos a month to start! I'm gonna try for this first. Been only doing one a month, if that, and it's so pitiful.

This info is gold. Would you mind doing a video on how long it takes you to actually do a van conversion? I love looking at this stuff but think I'm way underestimating how long it takes to actually do one of these. Also please go into detail about how you design the layouts or if you just kinda go section by section. I also assume you learned a lot just by getting started and doing imperfect action towards a goal. What was the learning curve like learning the electrical stuff and plumbing?

I've been looking for someone doing a stealth window in a WHITE van. I saw BuckSD's black van with stealth windows but a black vam gets too hot. White vans can blend in with work vans. I would probably have a business logo designed on it to disguise it further. Thanks for this.

I came here to see about the hidden window. Any video of how that’s applied ? Can it be removed?

Hey! I love the vids, they’re super invaluable for my van journey! I would’ve just asked this in discord but the link stopped working, but I’m having a problem finding decently priced vans these days... how did you source yours if you don’t mind me asking? And did you overpay for it?
@OutdoorsEmbrace
@OutdoorsEmbrace Год назад
I used Facebook marketplace for both of my vans. Open it up to as large a search range as possible. I found this one in Oklahoma and flew out to get it and drove it back.

Oh yeah, I did have one more question. Did you end up applying rustoleum or any other kind of rust-preventing paint to the sharp metal?
