Logan Jacobson trust me, im the dude hitting the knuckle on the video . It aint that bad. As long as its not first thing in the morning when everything is super hard packed hitting the knuckle isnt that bad

Another piece of advice... Basic grabs like the indy can help stabilize your board on the air and make your flights a bit more rad.

I've hit bigger jumps. Once you get better at them, its about getting comfortable with your speed and finding the "sweet spot" of the landing. Its the point where you will almost feel no impact when you land. Sometimes you will see super steep lands, don't let it intimidate you as steeper landings are better to land on. I've been to a couple hills in eastern Canada and the landings are so small because they built the jump at the bottom of the hill. Those jumps suck as you will never find the right amount of speed. Lol

Knuckling can hurt haha, i knuckled doing a 7 on a slow spring day and kneed my self in the face breaking my jaw and knocking my teeth out. Good thing i had a ski mask on or i wouldnt have been able to find my teeth.

Last season I just wanted to send a 30 footer. Hit it twice failed both times, but it was fun. Definitely gonna try it again this coming season. I know it isn’t as big as those ones.

How is it different for skis? Or is nothing different at all? I feel like knuckling would be worse because you dont have the sort of shock absorber of the board bending over the middle, it's just kinda your feet hitting the ground first, but perhaps I'm wrong.

It's so weird I started ridin in Austria where they had 20m jumps in the pro line. After years of changing resorts nearly every park's pro line seems like the medium line. The big ones in this video are still pretty rideable ... I remember standing next to a takeoff like 6-7m high ... never hit it and surely never will

Also where I ski in Canada, mont Tremblant, they have a scary terrain park: very VERY tall and narrow box-to-box jumps, a huge jump where you need to make it or die because theres a gondola in between thats a bit taller than the ramp, hyperbolic rails, and really really really long jumps that are about 50 feet apart idk.

I can do some decent spins off 20ft kickers, such as 540's(flat and corked). I want to step it up to the 30+ footers, we'll see how that goes.

One major thing that he left out is, in order to stay balanced in the air you need to make sure to keep your back hand over the tail of your board and make sure you look forward with your shoulders sideways. If you don’t do this you are going to fall on your ass

I hit an xl jump at my hill and I wasnt ready for the takeoff and was still adjusting and i spun and flipped midair and it hurt a little, theyre fun not scary
