@@postverifiedlifestylesame concept but you’re swinging an iron so your swing has to be a little more vertical so you can compress the golf ball. I would stay away from 3 iron as much as you can until you learn to hit your 5 or 4 hybrid better…
Point your 3rd left toe 17 1/2 degrees away from the sun depending on the time of day(see link for chart and equations) raise your right elbow 3/8s of an inch above your left elbow bend your left ankle until you feel a slight discomfort then immediately push into your lower calf with full rotation. Hold for 3 seconds before your backswing then repeat on your follow through
Don't forget to make sure the shaft of the driver it parallel to your dick and groin area. Or else the swing back will bend your wrist a bit then... we know what happens after that. Pain, jams into the ground, then it is impossible to touch your dik at night
I have watched tons of videos of people teaching how to hit the driver. They get too technical and trying to teach me how to hit like a pro. All I want to do is to hit it straight. Your tip is the most simple and the best. I feel like I’m lundging forward, but I don’t care. My ball is in the fairway every time. Thanks
Set up also fr one practice swing setting driver 10 in behind ball in line with center or sternum. Helps mentally set a low point before the ball. Try it.
It’s hard to transition my swing from 18years of baseball to a good looking golf swing. The mechanics are completely different and there are some habits from baseball I’ve been having trouble breaking
I’ve been hitting my irons immaculately, but my driver has been severely lacking because I think I’m staying down too much like I’m hitting an iron but I feel like this tip just saved my driver. I used to swing like this with all my clubs tall on the finish but I would end up catching shots thin with my irons so I switched to a steeper swing with my irons that helped a lot but kind of ruined my driver swing been hitting balls for the past few months trying to get my driver feel back but this is it for me I needed this. I think it’s just the fact of teeing the ball up that I have to hit up on it to get it going, I’ve been hitting low bullets lately with my driver and get one in the air maybe 3/10 times, but at least I know how to hit a low shot with how I’ve been hitting them lately, the high chest finish is deff a must to get the ball in the air can’t stay down all the way through.
I kept hearing this but then I went to a tour event and they nearly ll set up to a driver with shoulder-width stance and ball just barely ahead of center, and their swing doesn't change much from if it were an iron. So I tried it and my driving handicap in arccos has been positive ever since.
How do you not lean back?????? All I do is lean back can’t follow through. It’s so annoying. All I do is shoot it back foot and pull head. I’m literally done with golf after a month.
