I have nine (yes 9) hybrids in my bag. 2 though PW. Then I have three wedges (52, 56, 60 degrees) and a Driver. I wanted to try hybrids so I purchased a cheap set from Lazrus golf. I am very happy so far. They do take a little time to learn how to hit the full range of hybrids. You don't place the ball between you feet like you would with normal irons. Everything is more centered between your feet with just a minor adjustment forward or back based on the club selected.
Hybrid 3 4 5 and 6 in my bag. Great height...a mishit will give me better results than an iron...love them Only issue I have is I rarely hit irons..save par 3 or 3rd shot par 5...
Just added a Mizuno FliHi 7 hybrid and took my JPX921 5 iron out of the bag. So now my lowest iron is a 6 iron. Callaway 2 UW hybrid, Mizuno 5 hybrid are my other 2 hybrids
I don’t have a hybrid, carry 2 - P, 3W and driver. Thinking of putting a five wood in for the 2 iron. Old lofts though, 36 degree 7 iron, 19 degree 2 iron. So my 180 club is an easy six iron. If I had modern irons I’d have to get hybrids.
Dear Alex I just started watching videos on hybrids and everyone teaches the fairway hybrid but nobody teaches about the other ones. Let me explain-I'm 65 with a fractured sternum but I did not want to give up golf. So I modified my swing but at the end of 18 holes my chest was sore, so someone said why not try hybrids, So I bought myself a complete set from the 3 to the sand wedge with grafite shafts and senior flex. But noone shows how to use the lower clubs like the sand wedge. I was told that with them I did not have to swing as hard and that there is less vibration so I would not hurt as bad after a round. My question is "do you do any tutorials on how to use other hybrids?", and "is there a different way to hit out of a sandtrap?" The reason I'm asking you is because out of all the hybrid videos I've watched yours was the easiest to follow and it looked like you had fun making them. Thank-you for you time and looking forward to a response. Gord
I’ve a 5 wood (18 degree) 4 hybrid (21 degree) hybrid and then 5 iron being 24 and then even gapping I struggle with the confidence out of the rough but that video made sense! Will try it tomorrow 😀
Hi Alex Great Video.. Tried the Facebook link but keep getting thi message This Content Isn't Available Right Now. This has happened with othe videos. Can you help. Thanks
I have a 3 Hybrid and a 4 Hybrid I got new Taylormade P790s in 5 Iron down Still ain't got to grips with them yet but I am thinking distance wise I am going to have some overlap with the 4Hybrid and the 5 Iron I am thinking of going the other way and adding a 4 Iron and taking the Hybrid out If anything I hit Irons better than the Hybrids So it seems a no brainer
Easy... I have been a hybrid user since they "were invented" and people laughed at me... now ..look at them... me: 5 hybrid.. 5 wood.. 7 wood.. and even a 9 wood.. even some Pro are using a 7 wood... ha.ha... look at them now...
