I am going to buy a Nerdy Gurdy this year as my first gurdy and I am excited to watch your channel. Thanks so much for posting some videos! I am really wondering where to find good sheet music and cool ancient songs to play. :)

Now I can crank my wooden instrument like a pro - how do I make this beaut play a nice tune? Every tuning video I came across so far is a bit vague or geared for someone more intermediate ... How the hell do you tune this thing?!

I Will make a tuning video this week, but the standard is C on trompette / drone and G on chanters - this is called G/C tuning, the other is D/G where the chanters would be D and the rest G This is the tuning for a basic 3 strings, if your gurdy has more drones / trompettes (for example 2 on each side) use C and G
