bar ends make everything better. I finally put them on my bonneville and not only does it look cool as hell, it feels like a different bike. It actually makes me feel more confident riding it.
After shattering a crosshead bit in those screws, I thought you were crazy when you just popped it loose with a pair of pliers. I was wrong. It really was just that easy. No heat required. Thanks for the video.
Thank you so much for making this video, I'm on my way to get a grom soon and I needed to know how to install bar ends and then I found this, loved the video keep up the good work
This helped me a bunch when I installed the same bar end mirrors on my Grom. Ordered some mirror delete bolt/plate thingies to plug up the stock holes though.
Ok well glad to know I wasn’t the only one to have issues with the right side. I broke 2 screwdrivers so I just said forget it for the time being. I’ll definitely try the rag and vice grips and see if that works. I have the same after market mirrors and I have the same set on my 2015 GsxR-750
Thanks for the vid, I ordered from your descriptions Friday morning and received it today, and I’m from Arizona lol, but did everything you did but with out the heat gun lol thanks! Now the bike looks a lot better than having to antennas
reason for the reverse thread is because of the wind turbulence ( resistance) so the mirror will stay tight in place. , huh , odd, whoulda thought the right side would have been clock wise to tighten ..... >.> very odd indeed . to get tight screws loose , get a : TEKTON 3/8 in. Drive Impact Screwdriver Set (7-Piece) and you are set. not a larger spacer, you mean a thicker spacer. awsome vlog !!
I’ve gone threw a few sets of those Exact mirrors, on mine and my kids Groms. For the 20.00 ish dollars delivered, hard to beat. But as you stated “they’re exactly the same mirrors, as the more expensive “ these aren’t even close to the quality of say CRG or other higher end mirrors. I’ve had a few sets of these just break off, fall off. But a decent inexpensive option.
Hey im about to get a grom myself.. do you recommend the newer model 2016-18 or the older grom? I actually like the older one better for the looks. Oh and great channel!! Fun catching up on your videos.. how did i miss out on this channel :D
Hey just wondering, did you use the original bar end screw to install the mirrors? I have a honda cb 500f 2017 and when i tried to use the original screw to install it the screw was way to long
the bar end mirrors were a must for me on my grom because im a bit bigger guy and the stock mirrors were pointless haha. but looks good :). What grips you thinking of getting?
Hello do you have the link for these mirrors? I bought one similar to this, but the mirrors are flat they aren't rounded like your for better viewing. Thank you
Hey where did you get that wheel chock on your HF bike lift? I’m about to get that lift but I really don’t like the chock that comes with it. Keep up the vids! 🤙🏽
Mate get a very wet cloth/tea towel and wrap it around the grip like a sushi roll so you don't melt the grip when you heat up the end with the heat gun :)
Hey, know this is a super old video by now but i’m having issues with one of the mirrors being too loose and folding inwards slightly with speed. Wondering if you had any ideas!
i installed them on The wrong side. And i Cant Get The end part inside The handlebar out. When im trying to take it out i only remove The screw and not The thing Thats holding it in. help?
I thought the first mod was the cutting of the umbilical cord (reference to ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-a8LYWZDmGHg.html for those that haven't seen it).
