note my cb is from 1977 i already did a power check it tx's like half a watt dead key and 1 full watt when modulating in... the amp is ideal fro up to 5 watt drive maken around 250 -300 watts out ,,,with just 1 watt drive id say mutch less out .. some wear around 100 watts am,,,witch is still 4 times the piower of a hf ham radio am power considering the ha hf radios mostley do 25 watts tx max on the hf am modes', even if i was to get 75 watts id me happy on am
