Doing my first Zoom webinar and will be live-streaming on RU-vid on the 17th and this has been SO HELPFUL in putting me at ease. I don't know what I would have done without this video. It's all so clear. Thank you Paul!
Ah you're welcome I'm glad it helped! Checked out your channel. Great trailer subscribed. Sounds like a great business. This video on sharing your webinar to RU-vid live might help too. I like the custom setup it'a a bit more flexible ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Vry42dDJkWA.html
Wow! You created this video just in time!!! I recently just started using zoom obviously as a result of the global pandemic. I decided rather than cancel my live songwriting panel event, I'd host a webinar. Its happening this upcoming week and I had NO IDEA how to even do a webinar so this video was an ANSWER to prayer. I have a lot of practicing to do to make sure I do ok but you certainly have equipped me through this video. THANK YOU SO MUCH for being so amazingly resourceful and for demonstrating how to use it! Blessings!!!
Hi Paul, please can you help. I want to pre record a webinar and then allow my registrants to access the pre recording at the allotted Webinar time. How do I do that?
Thanks a lot Paul for your time and info. I just wantwd to understand that how can i show my presentation on the screen along with me in the corner of the screen
Thank you so much for recording this video , it was so helpful and understandable very easy and funny in the same time , i enjoyed watching it , thanks again
Hi and Thank you so much for taking the time to create this video! Using the "record webinar" feature, if I select the 'local computer' option and I'm using my iPad, will the recording then be saved to my device although its not a computer/laptop?
I had a quick search because I didn't know. One Zoom support pages says this I'm afraid: It is not possible to record locally from an iOS or Android device. You must be the meeting host to start a cloud recording on iOS or Android
You know I am a massive fan of yours Paul because your videos are just perfect - cover exactly the right thing. I did a webinar, and I could not see everyone’s video - they registered and joined as participants. But upon entry, they could only see me. The only way I could see them on video was to promote each one to a panellist level (because I had did exactly what did - turn panellist option on. Question 1 - rather than promote to panellist - is there a way to have kept them as participants - but enable their video? Question 2 - if not possible. Then is there an easy way to promote everyone to panellist level rather than right-clicking on each participant and painfully promoting them to panellist? Thanks x
AWESOME video Paul!! GREAT JOB! I appreciate all of the details! I am a TRUE student! Do you know if the polling choices/answers can be increased (it was only showing 10). If someone wanted to do a competition and have polling/voting afterwards with more than 10 competitors? AND is the poll visible and accessible to all the attendees (all 10, 000)?
Hi Paul, This is a wonderful tutorial. I really needed a detailed description and this answers just that. So thank you so so much! I have a question though- Can I fix the position of my panelists so the audience can view them in a particular order? I am hosting a webinar next weekend and really looking forward to your insight.
Super quick urgent question (hoping to host a webinar on zoom tomorrow!) So just to clarify: with the $40/moth Webinar add-on, up to 10,000 people can tune in/view/do the Q&A? Zoom says up to 100 participants for the Webinar add-on. I guess I'm confused about the difference between participant and attendee since I don't see anything on Zoom's website about attendees. Thank you so much in advance :)
Why do people restrict their webinars to Zoom Webinar (and not live stream it to RU-vid)? What are the issues with both? Why do people not use Zoom Meeting for webinars instead of Zoom Webinar? What are the potential problems with that?
Some people don't have youtube. The delay is 15 seconds. If you have up to a 100 people in your webinar you will have enough people to keep happy. Also they will be specifically trying to sell people something in the webinar and probably promoting the scarcity of entering the webinar for an offer. I have a video on the differences. Effectively a meeting is exactly that, everyone is invited and everyone is equal. Like sat around a board room table. Everyone sees each other and can interact with each other. In a webinar only the host and participants are seen by attendees. Here's the video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-R50XY2X0msY.html&t
Hi there!! THANK YOU from Brazil!!! My question is if I can broadcast my webinar live only in Zoom? That is, I don't want it to be in Facebook nor RU-vid. Thank you again!!
Thanks for the Video when you enable the option to register for the webinar is there a place to view that? I would like to have a record of those individuals.
INDEED HELPFUL SIR!. Thanks. What if you try to share a file and make it visible to the audience like PowerPoint slides or other files in your computer. Hehehe much appreciated
Where do you add a title and name for the panelists once they join the webinar? Sometimes they log in informally and I want to add credentials and a title
Hey Paul! Thank you so much for recording this video. It has been a lot of help. Is there anyway to add participants manually (via their e-mail) to a meeting/webinar to ensure there are no random guests to my conference?
Thanks Paul this was amazing, I would like to know if someone I can set someone else as a host to manage the webinar. They won't participate in the webinar as well they will just manage controls. So set up live stream to Facebook as well as click go live and manage Q&A?
Wonderful video. I still don't quite understand why you can't mute and disable video to create the same effect with a conference call as a webinar. It is not clear why the webinar is preferred for a single presenter.
@@PaulNicholsonGO Thank you for the reply. Great video. I do see the value of Webinars vs Conferencing. I just wanted to know if you have 30 people can you get the same robust effect with a conference call rather than upgrading to a webinar.
thanks Paul. i have zoom Pro for 14,99 dollars. Now, i want make a large meeting up to 500 people. How to ? What package should I buy? What is the price ? If i buy webinar package for 40 dollars, how many participant capacity and attendees capacity will i get ?
This is a great video - really helped give me the confidence to have a go at managing a webinar in Zoom. A bit more insight into how to run videos, allow panellists to run videos, and perhaps how you'd manage a conversation among the panellists (I know you touched upon this) would be great if you revisit this Zoom video. But thanks again - and will dig around the rest of your channel. Cheers.
Very helpful, thanks. Just asking: so my wife and I have separate businesses. She has the Zoom account in her name. If I hostess webinar, would I be able to make it so as it comes from my company. Or would my webinar be delivered to attendees from her email/company details?
@@PaulNicholsonGO Oh that's very kind of you to respond so quickly on a Sunday morning. Thank you. Zoom seems a good fit. There has been a few security issues with it, Zoom meetings being hacked etc, but I guess webinars should be different. Thank you again. Very useful video.
So the host and the panelists they cannot hear or see the attendees? I had a class the other day in a webinar zoom (because our teacher was a panelist) and it was really confusing for me. Thank you
Nice overview from the host's perspective -- thank you! I did have a question at the end. If registration is required for the webinar, once a registered person is in the webinar can they invite other people who have not already registered? How would that work?
Thank you for the awesome video on Zoom Webinar. A SMALL QUESTION to ask. When we enable the registrations. Is it only the registered and approved ones who can join or can anyone else with the link join??
great video Paul! I have a question, in order to add co-hosts to a webinar in zoom, do they have to have a pro account? or can co-hosts have a free account? thanks!
Hi Paul, Great tutorial. Thank you. Re Q&A in a Webinar - do attendees see the questions from other attendees or is it only "hosts" and "panelists" that see the questions being asked? Thanks.
This is perfect. This is exactly what i need. But i have to pay 14.99+40 to get all this. Is there a sort of discount or another option (like another application)?
Thank you for this video! Could you explain how the PayPal feature works to sell access to the webinar? Also how are the video participants determined? Is it first come first serve? Thank you for your help
Hello. I've not looked at the Paypal option yet, I'll have a look and get back to you. Everyone joins as an attendee 1st and then you can pick who you want to promote to a participant. More free training: pnuk.co/zoomtraining Come and join us.
Paul Nicholson - Happy-Me Business thanks for the reply! Yes a video on the PayPal feature would be great! Thank you for all of these videos. Subscribed!
Thank you for this video. Q. I see month to month billing, but do you have to lock in for a year or can you canel at anytime. I would like to do a webinar, but not particular on a regular basis. Q.2 Where you collect email, can this form be modified to collect mobile number too?
You are welcome. You can cancel or add the Webinar add-on anytime. Don't have to signup for a year. You edit the registration page to collect email. You can add more options to the signup too yes.
Very useful information. How do you hide all questions from being seen by participants. So people can ask questions privately, only host will see questions then answer. Is this possible? And which package is it avaliable on
Here you go. It's just an option in settings. Not an extra price. support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/203686015-Using-Q-A-as-the-webinar-host#h_381ba66b-f8a8-41fb-b54e-1d7972ca6817
Just thought of one more thing - any ideas how to make the recording available to others to watch who could not attend BUT where they still have to pay first to watch it? Rather not save to Zoom because it only allows 1Gb of data. I have got it saved onto my PC - but any idea of what platform to upload it to and what system to use to get their payment and automate the process?
Hello! During two different webinars, I received this: "You cannot start your video because the host has stopped it". Problem is, I am the host; and two panelists that were on screen were kicked off and received the same response when trying to start their videos. Any wisdom? Zoom has not replied in 5 days.
@@PaulNicholsonGO Yes...finally Zoom said that contrary to their training webinar, the video settings need to be ON for the panelists and OFF for the host
Hello Paul, many thanks for your tutorial, was pretty great and easy! i would like to ask you: on zoom meeting pro it is possible to deny people to see other people and just watch the host one? and also in a webinar if i'm the host can i don't appear ever, and put just another partecipant as full screen video? many thanks from Italy !
Hello. No on meeting it's as if everyone is in the room/meeting they all see each other. Yes in webinar you can spotlight a participant and that puts their screen full screen. More free training at pnuk.co/zoomtraining Cheers Paul
Thank you, your video was very helpful. My question is, if i have both meeting option and webinar option on my zoom license, can i have a meeting and a webinar at the same time by making someone else the host for either?
Hey Paul, great video, thanks for your knowledge. I have one question, once they register do they automatically get a gmail/outlook booking in their calendar? Is the integration triggered when they accept and register? Thanks beforehand for your time.
I have a question. I was trying to setup the custom live stream for my webinar - to schedule for a future live stream on youtube LIVE. I have already clicked on the SETTINGS - In MEETINGS (Advanced) - to allow live stream and checked all the options. But when I enter into the webinar and started it up, it went into practice mode/session and I can't see to get the custom live stream option available. I could only see Facebook and RU-vid. But I do not want to stream it immediately. Or is it because it's in practice mode? Or is there another settings area under the WEBINAR LIVE STREAMING tab as shown at 8mins48seconds, that I should toggle for the custom stream. Thanks! Sorry for a long question
Hello, great vid. can you tell me if there is a lag when broadcasting on RU-vid. Which way would you recommend to broadcast (Zoom, facebook or RU-vid) ?
Yeah I think it's about 15 seconds. I have a video on how to do that too. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Vry42dDJkWA.html&t More free training at pnuk.co/zoomtraining if you need it.
You can request for additional information such as age, educational level, nationality from your participants through Registration in the Integration option, is that correct?
Hi! Thanks for the helpful video. Wondering if you know.....are you able to edit the contact information for a webinar attendee that is on your registration list? Once a person registers for a webinar - is the host (or attendee) able to edit the information (first name, email, etc.)? Thank you in advance.
I need to host a webinar in which i will share my screen and my video, what i learnt that i can easily do this by using zoom for presentation sharing and for my video and sync it with youtube live on my youtube channel and it can be seen easily by clicking a simple youtube link. Now the issue is I want to schedule the meeting a day before so i can send the youtube link to maximum users so they can allocate time and see the video. if there is any other solution the only thing i want that end user watch the webinar with a single click, i dont want user to install zoom or any other app that is why i choose youtube as it is present in most phones. i see several webinars in which i observe that before the starting time of webinar youtube link says webinar will be started and xyz time.. how people do that May be these are very basic questions but as i dont have any knowledge of it so i want to learn so i can execute what i want
Yeah for sure it's simple. 1. Go to your youtube and click Create - Live Stream 2. Create a scheduled live stream. - This will give you a stream key and stream url. 3. Setup the webinar. And instead of going to Live RU-vid stream. You click the custom option. This is where you enter the RU-vid information you setup. THEN on the day. 1. Launch your Zoom Webinar. GO LIVE 2. Red button top left will say you are streaming live to youtube. 3. finally go live on youtube. All you need to do is share the RU-vid Live link before hand. Video on how to do it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Vry42dDJkWA.html&t
I just got the webinars i cant go live on FB JUST Says its connecting i log into fb then says preparing for live stream but nothing? Any tips. Im running a mac lap top 2012
Not sure sorry. I added your question to my Q&A I'll go see if there's an answer somewhere. Check there for the reply. RU-vid comments get lost as I get so many. paulnicholson.com/t/zoom-i-cant-go-live-on-fb-just-says-its-connecting-i-log-into-fb-then-says-preparing-for-live-stream-but-nothing/1991
The other person see's your full screen. You can do what you need to without looking at Zoom and they all see what you need to see. Is that what you mean Lisa?
Paul Nicholson - Happy-Me Business Thank you! I really appreciate these tutorials at a time when so many people are turning to this technology. One last question: can the audience continue to see the presenter while he is sharing his screen?
Hi Paul- do you know, if hosting a webinar with multiple speakers (participants), are they all always visible? For example, when hosting webinars, we like to have one speaker presenting at a time, but by the looks of this, they are all visible on the screen. Therefore, would we have to change their role throughout the webinar so that only the person speaking is seen?
You can set the webinar to speaker view so only the speaker is on screen; support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362323-Changing-the-video-layout-Active-Speaker-View-and-Gallery-View-
Very nice video Paul! One question: What if I want all the attendees to watch me in full-screen, and at the same time, I want to watch all of them in a multiview? Is that possible?
@@PaulNicholsonGO Ok then! Participants. I want all the participants to see me in fullscreen, and at the same time I want to see them all in multiview. Can I control that, or its up to the participant to select what he/she sees on his/her screen?
Thanks Paul. I've converted a meeting to a webinar, yet when my clients register for services a 'new meeting' populates in my Zoom schedule?? Now two different schedules appear - I can link up with them in that populated meeting, BUT I need them to link to the webinar I converted? What am I missing? Setting in Advance? Or???
