Greetings, in this Github tutorial we shall be looking at how to host a unity webgl game on github so anyone can play the game in a web browser. This method is free.
Firstly, you need to build your Unity webgl game. After that go to: github.com/
If you don't have a github account, make one. We want to then create a new github repo. We will be uploading our unity webgl game to this. The repo needs to be public as github pages is only free for public github repos.
Now we need to drag and drop all of our unity webgl build files into the repo. You can upload the files via other software like github desktop or source tree if you want.
After that we need to go to the github repo settings. We need to go to the pages section and setup our github page for this repo. After we have setup the github page, you will need to wait a few minutes.
Now just type in a url into your web browser to play your github hosted unity webgl game. Url template:
