Hey Curlfriends! I am super excited about this video because I don't know why I"ve been slacking on doing hot oil treatments but there is no turning back now. I used Jamaican Black Castor Oil 3 different ways and my hair was definitely thanking me for it. Have you done a hot oil treatment lately? Before or after shampooing? @@JasColoredCurls when you go To wash your hair after a rod set how do you do it like say the curls are still intact but your just over the style and want to wash it without damaging your hair in the process any tips? (Detangling and such)

Yayyy. Happy Belated Birthday. I Luv the new color. It's fire 🔥🔥. I swear you and @Havana Rose the reason i Luv perm rod sets. So True about the Color and now my hair back Black 😭 😭. I see why you 2 Ladies do perm rod sets and flexi rod sets mostly over twist outs. I wish i would've kept doing perm rod sets because me and twist outs have been in a Love/Hate Relationship for a year and let me tell you 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣. Whew about 40 perm rods Honayyy i probably would've passed out at 20 🤣 🤣. Back to perm rod sets for me. STAY SAFE EVERYONE. GOD BLESS.

I have layers but by accident lol. I went to the salon and she started chopping my hair into layers. I was so sad. But I’m past it now and just want my hair to grow even. Do I just leave it alone for it to grow evenly or should I actually cut it even ? This is my second comment on one of your videos. I absolutely loveee the perm rod vids!! You’re really the best! ❤️

Your style is beautiful as always. I wanted to do hot oil treatments, but they always seem so messy. After watching this video, I'm going to try it out. Your color still looks amazing too. You can use any shampoo brand while using these oils as treatment?

Yes as long as it's a shampoo and not a cleansing conditioner I think it would be fine. I used Adwoa Beauty Baomint Shampoo. This color was supposed to be gone by now, even though at the time of this video it was only the 3rd wash lol

@@JasColoredCurls I'm thinking about coloring my hair and if I commit, I'll do hot oil treatments regularly because my hair is super sensitive to chemicals. Seeing how simple you made it look, I'm going to try it out. That red took really well to the blonde you already had in because it hasn't even thought about fading lol.

When you did the hot oil treatment did you just apply the oil and shampoo and condition as usual??

Yep! Some people do the hot oil treatment after the shampoo but because my hair is fine I wanted to do it as a pre poo treatment to make sure I wasn't looking like an oil slick lol
