Hello and thank you for the information in your video, it was very helpful. I just have one question, how can you apply for another sponsor/co sponsor that doesn't live in the same household? If I recall correctly, in the video it says that the additional sponsor must live in the same household.

I've seen groups of people co sponsor and I've seen individuals who are not in the same household sponsor, how is that filled out, where is their information entered since they're not in your household. Organizations and separate non related people are filing together. How is their financial information entered and where does it go

Thank you for this incredibly helpful video! One quick follow up question around beneficiary's that only have cash - for the beneficiary's assets, where should I identify this in the form (if at all). Second, they have proof they sold a vehicle for cash, should I include it? (It is all in Ukranian) and they only have one vehicle. Can there be a co sponsor who is not part of the household?? Also the list under assets does not have a way of showing earned income, how would you have a co sponsor because your income is not enough and not be able to add the employment income of the co sponsor?

Hello Attorney Denoble! Thank you for your supportive video. My question is, 6 months ago I sent in application I-134A for one of my folks, and I immediately received a confirmation letter with the case number. Now, 6 months went by I never heard from them. I have now a Co-sponsor who is willing to join me financially, but I don't know how to add that person to the account?

For an I-864 affidavit of support which is for permanent residence, the co sponsor is not required to live in the same household or state as the main sponsor. Is it any different for an I-134 A which is for humanitarian parole? I notice several RU-vidrs mentioned they must live in the same household.

Hello, thank you for this video. If I made errors on the application (didn't enter amount that I would spend in sponsoring the individuals, I didn't enter all of my dependents in the home and how much they would contribute) do I need to fill out another application? Also what happens if multiple people apply to sponsor the same family?

Go to your account, enter anything that you missed in the "Additional Information". Go there and let them know anything that was missing. You can do it from the Inbox section of your account, select the form you want to revise, choose the section and send it to them. They will manually correct it. But expect a bit of delay if you do so. I hope this helped. 🙂

hi i'm not seeing anyone ask or answer this question no matter where i search on the internet. I filled 2 applications back a few months ago. Hello, I personally uploaded the cosponsor ‘s documents where I uploaded mines. I uploaded mines first and then I added his documents. Just make sure you upload each of them where they belong . I hope this helps 😊

Hello, thank you for this video. On the I-134a application i want to make sure i filled this part accurately. I add my brother he's going to help sometimes not all the time. My brother lives in a different household he will not be listed as other sponsor. The section: On the application- financial information about the individual agreeing to financially support the beneficiary, I added myself and my brother-(how much he contribute to the beneficiary annually). So on the total number of dependent I entered 0-( Is this part correct). Please advise asap. Thank you.

Lets say I’m a student and because I am in school I am making below the poverty 125% to support myself and the beneficiary, who is my husband. Can I make an account and have my parents sponsor the beneficiary along side me? I can hardly get started. Opened USCIS. Start on 134a but am sent a verification code of 8 digits. When I attempt to enter this code the program wants a longer code appearing to begin with 3 alpha characters, which I don't have and the program denies the 8 digit code it sent me. Hi. My wife and I filed a joint return with one dependent. Should I add myself as a dependent even when I am not technically his dependent? She is the sponsor. Also, there is a part where they ask you how much the dependent can contribute to the beneficiary, if I can be counted as a dependent should I send an employment letter as well? You are not a dependent. You are a household member. Your income can be added under that household member section. You are not the beneficiary, that is the person you are sponsoring.

@@DamjanDenoble I still don't quite understand. I'm in a similar situation. The total amount from forms w2 includes the income from both individuals. So should I put that all under the husband's name or should I subtract all of the wife's income from that number and list that income separately under her name? It's further complicated since some of the income is from businesses and some of it is from rent on property which is in the name of both individuals.

Jury is out on that one. You can try to have the friend file and put "Other" in the relation. Otherwise, they cannot be added as a co-sponsor of your wife as they are not part of your household.
