Just curious, mixing your dyes 1:1 with soda ash eliminates the pre-soak step? And you don't have any issues with the dye bleeding or washing out? I'd love it if this works! Pre-soak is really slowing me down.
If I want more flow I will soak them but you don’t have to. You can mix the soda ash with dye or you can sprinkle soda ash over your piece either under or over the ice and that works too.
@@michellewielt5349 good for you! Its fun. I’ll microwave mine after the ice melts or put it in the oven at 150 for a few minutes, only if it’s in the muck or really wet. That can speed up the waiting process.
