Another good video, didn’t know that about walking in a straight line. After seeing your video on the camera trap footage of the Eurasian Lynx I’d love to know more about Pine Marten’s. I’ve read up on them but having videos always seems more knowledgable.

Thanks Mark. Much appreciated. I'm planning on talking a bit more on wolves and lynx in my next video, but pine martens are definitely an interesting one as well. It's on my list! Thanks for the feedback.

These are interesting Wildlife facts, 40kg, remarkable. I have enjoyed photographing Gray Wolves in Canada, took several weeks before they appeared, plenty of Coyotes but only encountered Wolves a couple of times. Thanks for sharing this information and details, didn't know about the toes either - Stewart

Thanks, actually 40 kg is around average, could be up to 60 kgs even. And I think this is about European wolves. Not sure if there is a difference between European wolves and US/Canadian wolves. But there is this rule that species are larger more to the North, so maybe in Canada they are even larger. Sam

Wolves indeed humans at all costs especially if they are actively hunted. Live in Poland and only once came across them once. I thought at first they were two shepherd dog mixes and there was only a three second moment we looked at eachother and they jumped back into the forest and disappeared. As I have a blood hound that same week we had found more deer body parts than usual in the forest and wondered why, but after three days no fresh cadavers were found and the territory markings weren’t refreshed. Haven’t seen them since.
