Some people on Facebook were asking about plucking vs cutting. Here's a link to a long term study on Mt. Hood in an area off limits to the public where they found no difference in the two practices. So true. I should get more with my dog. She's 11 so she's getting a little old for tromping through the forest. She has found many mushrooms in her day though! I also find it motherly how she will keep track of each person in the group bouncing back and forth between us.
