How To Identify SCAM Graphics Cards 

Wish I watched this before I bought a £35 RTX from China.

somehow you managed to make a video showing 10 signs of fake cards, and not one example to contrast it

one dead giveaway is they wont fake common brands like evga, gigabyte, asus, and other brands. if its a brand you have not heard of, its probably fake. cant always go by the cooler because some legit foreign brands look super similar. if it has vga, its crap and dont buy it.

I bought a GeForce 1050 ti in shopee and it was only 3260 pesos idk what’s the dollar equivalent but when installed it there was a lot of blurr and even my screen is not fit and when I wanted to remove it I couldn’t accesss my computer anymore since I still ran a VGA on my motherboard and now I regret it (next time make sure you don’t order it online and just to be sure make sure you buy from the seller)

So, is it possible that stores could have these fake cards by any reason? I'm Brazilian and bought a new PC in a store about a week ago, so far it had to had the graphics card, a supposedly Nvidia gtx 730, replaced once due to sound problems and it seems to have many points as shown in this video like the box is literally the one shown with the car image except it has a windows 10 logo beside the Nvidia and "windows 7 compatible" logos, also if I remember correctly the cooler is like one of the designs as well and more than that I installed a game but when I attempted to play it had a message like "incompatible graphics card" I can't remember well because it closed to fast and I tried to start the game again but it made the PC restart and its now on a restarting loop. So, I paid about 120 pounds (converted using Google) just for the supposed graphics card and I'll call the store's repair by tomorrow, can anyone tell me a way to verify (or show) if the graphics card is actually fake? Cause I don't think the store's repair is capable or has interest on it

ok you say that you should watch out for bios flashing of the cards, but how do you actually check if the card has been flashed and is the real card?

GPU-Z does mark some as fake, not sure if they've defeated that though, before that feature, checking the GPU-Z stats of shaders etc. not matching what it was supposed to be was another clue, but maybe they can beat it now as well as the simple name fake.

Its better to buy videocards from official websites like nvidia. Most videocard brans have their OWN official website. Or just buy it "physically" so you can see the videocard in personal before you buy it.

I know it's most likely a scam, I will just dispute it with my bank if they lie and don't give me the product I was promised and paid for. But there's always that possibility right?
