I think changing the fuse with resistor is not safe practice. Safety fuse is a primary protection when there is short in your circuit. Changing it with resistor just limits the current in your bridge rectifier due to your bulk capacitor inrush current. So it is better to keep the fuse untouched when doing test to safely prevent damage…. Nice troubleshooting tips though, thanks for the video.
Amigo puedo hacerle una pregunta espero me ayude. Los transistores 30F124 o los RJP63K2 se puede medir con tester en la escala de diodos. Estos dan una lectura de un lado y si volteas las pinzas no da lectura en pata 2 y 3 y al activarlo mide un valor más bajo estaría bien el transistor si da un valor en tester. Gracias

As for the right optocoupler to connect, i usually trace pin 4 back to the PWM IC pad. Ive never tried looking out for 431. Im still wondering why you always use the 220ohms 20watts resistor. Whats the effects if i dont use it? Is the fuse not means to blow out when theres a wrong connection? Why put resistor that will not blow? Or will the resistor blow? Once again thanks for your video i now know how to modify power supply. Though i tried it on one power that has a different pwm ic about 16 or 18 pins
Hi the restor is the to prevent more compounents from blowing it limits the current I use a dimbuld tester so if there's still a short the light lights up bright

@@tevzTVTevatronics yes I did check some hours ago. Now I understand fully how to work with strw6053. My confusing was only the pins. Infact this ic have 6pims physically and when you look into the diagram you shown on other video. There no pins 2. You have 1 3 4 5 6 7. That's was my confusion always. Pins 5and 7 for ground. 6 for fb. 4 for vcc 3 source/octo 1 drain
