How to immediately know if your eyes are PROMINENT or PROTRUDING? 

Finally, something about my own eye type. I never liked them because I always appear sleepy or stoned.

You should do some tutorials for this eye shape. I can't seem to find a single RU-vid channel that does make-up on this eyeshape. It's always "making small eyes larger" and how to hide large eyes. I don't want to "hide" my eyeshape. I just want a cute makeup look.

Okay so now It's confirmed I have round, prominent eyes. This makes so much more sense now. I just want to learn what's the best look for my eye, cause I heard thin wing eyeliner, light mascara and neutral shadow is much better for my eye shape. I just wear heavy mascara everyday and don't play with anything else really.

this is me! I have SUPER prominent eyelids, but I don't have big eyes really meaning that my eyeballs don't really protrude out. but I don't have deep set eyes either. just big fat ginormous eyelids. 😂 😢

No issue with having prominent eyes, didn't realise anyone thought they were a problem. I've often received compliments on my 'prominent' eyes. All eye shapes are beautiful imo. It's all a bit silly... for example, big, round, curvy, booty's, are currently coveted, not so a few years ago... They have always been gorgeous, as are, prominent, brown, blue, green, grey, hooded, upturned, downturned, whatever eyes... It's diversity. It's true beauty.

I think these eyes are so pretty because the protrusion of the lid makes them appear large. I really want this eye shape since I have regular almond shaped eyes without the prominent lids and I’d love for my eyes to look super big. I have very big eyes and I thought that they were protruding ( as the guy was saying, when the eye is closed, it's rounded.) I have a deep socket line and high brow bones and no bags underneath. I grew my eyebrows back, they were quite thinly plucked. I think that it has a lot to do with the brows. Yes I have very big eyes and they do have the bump when closed, but if you feel your brow bone and cheek bone as a circular continuum and there's a big hollow, your very big eyes must be deep set ? It's about the brows. Also people with fleshy upper eye ( under the browbone ) have a completely different bone structure even if their eyes appear deep set. I feel that it's the hollows and the prominence of the cheek bones and the brow bones that determines whether or not you have protruding or deep set eyes. Ultimately I think that tutorials are helpful for people who are new to make-up or who don't understand the structure of the face. Otherwise, go with what makes you feel good, not what some make-up artist tells you. People I've seen after make-overs by "professionals" with their photographs. Have to say, in the main the make-overs were dreadful. They looked infinitely better as their usual selves.

I've always why I have creases under my eyes and why eye socket bone is so visible. No matter how much I sleep, stay hydrated. I even thought it was early wrinkles so I started using avocado 😔. Dark colours always give me racoon eyes especially black 😬
