Thank you so much for the info , that explains why vehicles are so expensive in Pakistan. I mean insanely and ridiculously super expensive than owning one in overseas. Vehicles which are sold for 30K overseas are sold in Pakistan equivalent to 80K. A year back, a friend of mine purchased a 2018 MB S 560 pearl white with 110k miles immaculate fully loaded, always serviced in MB close to18K directly from the manufacturer dealers Auction, which is equivalent to PKR 50 Lakh plus on top nominal taxes 6.5% and other nominal charges for tag, title and registration. We don't have to look far, we can compare prices from one of our neighboring country. I fail to understand how come people in Pakistan afford buying exotic and high end vehicles until and unless ..... either they are business owners where laws are very flexible for business owners or flow of overseas remittances or government privileges. Bottom line vehicles in Pakistan are extremely expensive.
Today I talked with SBT Japanese car agent He told me if you import 1000cc car from Japan then easily you will save more than 10 lacs And save more than 5 lacs on 800cc cars
Be careful bro Make your own calculation on a specific vehicle then you will see the real difference. SBT just shows you the sweet Dreams instead of reality to convince you to purchase their vehicle. It totally depends on Maker, Model b Auction Sheet then you can get the price difference.
Pakistani showroom selling Toyota raize z model at the price of 62 lacs or more But if you import with a passport then the total cost after registration will come 51 lacs
