For those of you who would like to import your CS2 demos into Blender, I have just dropped a tutorial covering exactly that!! Check it out here - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CJdfPtuLT2Y.html
Timing on this video is crazy. currently editing a cinematic shot rn and couldn't get pov footage in hlae without it be jumpy. you came in clutch like you always do. much love bro keep up the amazing work
how do you get your cs2 demo's to work properly, mine the weapon animation is SO bugged. The weapon/knife keeps shifting itself from the hand ruins the entire demo
Awesome! Thank you for being swift about a tutorial covering this topic we are alot out there anxious to try out the new tools for CS2 editing. As a person in your niche audience, i love the way you convey the information straight and to the point. You surely know who you are talking to. Thank you P.S. When you mentioned getting this into blender, my mind exploded. I would love to see a tutorial on that.
Do you know how to change lightning? When i'm trying to use camera settings like "maplightscale" or "timeofday" nothing happens.. Would be nice to make some dark cinematics with nice spit lights etc.
One question, is there a way to include glove / knife / weapon skins when recording the demo? I notice it deletes all weapon skins and makes the gloves black. Great vid though, thanks!
Just a quick question, how would one get the skins used in the demo, into the recorded playback? I'm stuck with just the base default skins. Also my AWP in the demo, wont show the scope when ADS.
@@kyrosane I did! or, rather, Rocklan did! if you import the demos into the other option with the HLAE method all the skins load perfectly, including operator. It just is a little less user friendly when making your points for the cinematic.
Would you mind explaining why you edit with image sequences instead of video files? I just wanted to know if theres any sort of benefits of doing it one way or the other. Thanks for the great tutorial!
After I try to load the demo my cs2 and S2FM window crashes, only the console remains. The demo loads a few seconds but it never finishes Edit: I needed to reset my windows anyway and that worked for me. I don't know what it was tough.
Thank you so much brother, but i have a question, how can we record these demos in slow motion, should i record the game in slow motion? ( I have tried changing the timescale but it didnt worked, never goes under 1 )
If you right click on the viewport of an empty project there’s an option along the lines of set map and from that menu I think you can select a workshop map file instead
I'm doing an edit on my friends deagle ace but I cant find any info on how to change weapon & glove skin to the skins I want to put, anyone know where I can find info or know how to change it in s2fm?
hi there i watch you like a months ago love your videos and you are the one who inspired me to do this but i have do smth wrong in my project can you contact to you to instruct ( sorry for my bad english ) and thank you very much keep do these video
It's not really related but I wanted to ask is there a way to get greenscreen models from demos? I know there was a way in csgo with hlae but is there a way with cs2?
