thanks, but, how do you choose the folder where the .dmp file is in?? I dont understand how all this is so... complicated compared with another systems

Is this demo for exporting an oracle schema from DB1 to another schema in SAME database DB1 or they are two distinct databases running on same machine? I tried this to do export/import from one RDS database user DB1 to another RDS database user DB2 but the second database does not see the DUMP file stored in the first RDS dump directory.

Do you I need a separate listener tcp/ip connection with different port other than 1521?

Its depends on in which port your oracle installed by default its 1521.

Hi, It was nice video , but SqlDevloper is not able to import a schema having few tables with CLOB column datatype , so in this case how to import ?

Excellent Video! Would you be able to do the same expdp and impdp for an AWS RDS database? We dont have access to the operating system for RDS and we have to use DBMS_DATAPUMP API and write code to export and import.
