As a Fast Editor i can confirm freebuilding in a perfect manner. You can develop perceft building sync, inhuman editing timing, perfect crosshair placement and good aim. Maps are not needed, freebuilding is the best and fastest way to get incredible mechanics and aim
Playing valorant and reaching immortal really help me with cross hair placement on fortnite. I’ve been playing claw for a while but finally decided to switch to kbm, and im on my 5th day rn and im already more mechanical than I was on controller and I was nowhere near bad on controller. Also play a lot of aim training like Kovaaks and you’ll notice a huge difference.
i wouldnt recommend going to kbm on console, the input delay and frame drops as well as the max fps is too low so its not worth. try claw or paddles instead.@@muntingmonkey
@@muntingmonkeyinput delay is pretty bad on both old and new gen, but if you have a ps5 or series x|s it’s not THAT bad. Pc is so much better than any option though, practically 0 input delay with a high refresh rate monitor.
I have been tryna find a tutorial for this but couldn’t ngl as they just promote their maps. But you go thorough into detail. I used to have good crosshair placement but I got washed like very bad. I lost to players I considered bad. Thank you so much for a helpful tutorial. Hopefully I get unwashed 😅.
*someone please tell me why my PS5 controller won't shoot ugh... i hit R2 n it doesn't shoot i have to hit or flick it like several times before it shoots. . . n no it's not broke cuz it works perfect on every other game n other seasons of FN it didn't do this as bad as this season. . . this has been the worst season in terms of of LAGGING in every area*
If you want to have faster, more consistent mechanics and better aim you need to improve your crosshair placement. Watch the entire video to find out how. If you enjoy be sure to like and subscribe!
@@runecappelle1075it really depends on your play style if you like flashy game play quick edit go for it but you have to have good movement and crosshair placement so after editing you can line up a shot it also depends on how fast your sens is to but if flashy gameplay is your goal use edit on release and if you want to be more consistent with shots and piece control edit on release should be of, but as I said earlier if movement and crosshair placement is good than edit on release is the better option. Hope this helps
Currently, in Fortnite you can adjust building and editing sensitivity separately. Do you use these settings or just leave them at 100%? I'm an old noob trying to get better. My mouse sense is close to yours (6.2 on 800DPI). It seems 200% building sensitivity helps me build faster but I'm afraid it might be the wrong move in the long term as I may lose precision. Just don't want to create wrong habits. What's your take on this? Thanks.
yeah keep it the same 100% and you'll get used to it also if you think about it you're making sure you're efficient with crosshair placement and building and not spazzing out
my issue is that this doesn't work for me since I constantly have 100+ ping, because I'm located in Africa. I play on EU server which is the closest to me. I could never double edit at that speed no matter what. it takes more time to be able to edit the second one. the timing is different for higher ping.
Do u use Edit on realese? Cause i really struggle with timing i think. I Edit fast but not that fast. Feel like i cant ger faster cause my timing is off. Really moves thos video tho
It might be too much but for those freebuilding moves I think it would be coool to seemamslowed down tutorial for that cuz I got no clue what’s going on
I know you’re showing the path, but can you make a video showing what are you building? A little bit more explaining what piece to build first. Cuz it’s too fast to catch 😂
if i practiced the moves you showed in this video and just play a nromal crosshair placement maps for a couple months will my crosshair still be like yours?
The hardest part is double edits the timing between 1 and 2.edited build its like just wont edit right away, when we place ramp floor cone then edit through?✌️
What got me is when he said if this is too easy for you I was spazzing out I would give anything to even be able to do it the so called bad way you were doing it at the start of the video
Yo bro would you mind teaching me how to play and personally coaching me im really bad at building and editing and i cant do anything close to you but id like to be able to build and edit like you
It's so much more easier to edit with a 240 hz monitor. i use a 144 hz and it's so hard to get konsistant edits, does anyone have any tips to get better on 144 hz 144 fps?
Bro do you use two keybind to edit for the confirm edit on realease off? for example one keybind for edit and another for confirm the edit or you just use only one for edit and confirm
@@howlfym last question bro you edit whit f but when you have to confirm the edit how you can move to right direction if your finger is occupated whit f to confirm the edit cuz for move usually people use w a s d but you cant click d while you clicking f how do you fix that?
I'm struggling with it bcs I have too much difference between normal sens and edit/build sens. If i played with increased sens i would aim like shit. Should i practice aiming with faster sens or trying getting used to 2 different sensitivies?
I think crosshair placement is not my only problem… I am Elite and just so bad at mechanics I don’t know the other problem if anyone here is mechanical it would be so nice to watch me live maybe you see my mistake I just don’t improve
yo guys i wanted to ask smth: everytime i double or triple edit i playce a cone afterwards and i just cant stop it. After i placed a floor and a cone i edit but the cone is still selected, and after i edit my finger is still on M1. I really tried to stop, but the time between stop pressing M1 and selecting a stair or whatever other build i want to place afterwards is just too short. Does anyone know a fix for it or is it really just a skill issue ?
I had the same problem before it's more of a skill issue thing, if you place the cone you can switch to a ramp right after placing a cone so you don't get the problem so when you edit it will place a ramp instead. it's all a little practise and some muscle memory and you will be good
@howlfym thanks bro, I'm on controller and recently I changed my binds cus I want to get better than I am, and I can see results already I don't have to take my hand off my joysticks all the time now, I always used a Power a Infinity controller it came with 2 paddles but I didn't use it properly and used left paddle sprint and left other paddle as nothing, now since I don't like jump on my right paddle I use right stick to jump and a to slide or crouch, and left paddle is to pullout builds and right is to sprint, I'm going to be doing a progression video soon where I show how much better I've gotten at the game with just changing binds and having to not let go off the joystick can be hard but it's so rewarding due to you being able to get better at every aspect of the game like peice control more efficiently, fight, jump and build and shoot at the same time, but yeah if you read this thanks once again. :)
my main issue is not being able to edit consistently when I'm in the build mode, I keep editing the blueprint of the piece instead of the already placed one.. when I go up a ramp and try and edit through my pyramid and floor I just goof it 80% of the time
that has absolutely 0 to do with your crosshair placement. I worked since 8th grade and got my pc when I could afford it. If you aren’t old enough to get a job then you just have to make the best of what you have but your specs are not limiting your crosshair placement in any way.
