@Sushi Milk my wifi is okay at videos like yt, fb, tiktok, insta etc. But when comes to gaming and anime,anime cant load that fast and gaming is 200ms to 300 when morning but in night its 97ms to 180ms

We had the same issue. We recently replaced our router to a NETGEAR RBK13 mesh wifi system. We thought it was the ISP modem. Turns out the coaxial cable underground was broken. Had to replace that. I replaced the modem too anyway for more performance.

@@ArnoldGaming it turned out our wifi can only support 3 gadgets skip to a year later we found WE were paying overpriced ouf modem is SEMI fiber we were paying for a full on fiber weve been paying it for over a year

+Da dankest youtuber depends on the router but with some routers you can control what devices are allowed on the network or you can provide quality of service to your device so you priority with bandwidth

+Fernando Silva it depends on he power line there's two types. Wired and wireless. If it's wired the one in the room with the weak signal will need to be connected to a computer or a switch or you can buy a wireless power line that uses wifi

Marcopon run a cable. Wired is the best wherever possible and it's much much more secure. I know it's a pain but once it's done you will never have problems connecting again. And you can put a wifi hotspot if you absolutely need wifi. Hotspots are cheap and work very well. I use an old router for a hotspot and bought one for $30 for another room. Some cheaper hotspots do not have multi band but it's no big deal since you usually don't need distance.

+Joshua Andru (Big Jay) Hi Joshua, you don't need to move the router, but you can buy a powerline and plug it in your grandparents room into an outlet and connect it to the router. Then plug the other powerline in the room with the weak signal. The powerline will push the data through the electrical lines from where the router is into the room with weak wifi. Or the other option is to get a Wireless Repeater and place it somewhere in the middle between the weak point and the router.

i bought one of those repeater things it did not work for me plus the router has the ethernet cable pluged in the back of my grandparents pc so is the phone line the internet cord and other stuff that is plugged in the back of the router to the pc

Cable Matters 5-Pack, Cat6 Snagless Ethernet Patch Cable in Black 3 Feet by Cable Matters $10.99 Amazon Prime I will let you know if this works. I trust that Mr. Moniz has the solution to our problem

Sorry to hear about the bad reception you're getting. Did you say your router is a modem router combo? If so, that's most likely why you're getting bad reception. Modem router combos are terrible. My suggestion is to buy a regular router and switch the combo device to bridge mode to act as a modem only.

No it's a cable-tv box combined with a modem but I don't think that's any good either. I'll try and hook up a seperate modem and see if that works. Thanks for the quick reply!
