New cars should have been a given considering the game has been out for 3yrs, but i love the idea of red vs blue 50v50, imagine theres 1 brocky left for blue and they 10vs1 victory.
@SerjantChamp yah can you imagine being clutch for your team where, as the only player left on your team, you end up eliminating the last 5 to 10 drivers of the other team? There should be a special prize and accolade for that for sure! Great ideas there bud 😃
Nice list, thanks for doing that. 1/ My favorite: 17. 14. 11. 2/ Other ideas a) Delete bug exploits such as MAP TRICK that ruins the spirit of the game (Dev can just reduce more significantly the speed when viewing Map independently of the time spent on the map b) correct the bug that changes cars into ghost cars when there is contact between cars and breakable objects in the same time. c) After the FS, edit a leaderboard with the gamertag, final rank and car of each drivers who were involved in (including early exiters eliminated by the arena 😁)
@bobmaloubier73 you're welcome bud; thanks for sharing your ideas as well! Having a leaderboard show you exactly where everyone finished, what car they were driving, who eliminated them, and how many eliminations everyone got would be a fantastic way to close out each round! 😃
Add more final circles. For example: west/east slope of the volcano, Mexico festival, the hotel, Guanajuato, Tulum, dunes, estadio, playa azul, valle de las ranas, castilo and chihuahua circut. More cars and car types as well. I don't expect majority of your changes added to fh5, but they would be a great addition to fh6 when it comes out hopefully next year. They could at least make an anticheat for eliminator and leaderboards.
@Aerang207 agreed! There's lots of potential new Arena locations that could be added. They could switch up the Arenas just like they switch up the car roster. And yes, these are some ideas that will hopefully be implemented into FH6
Great ideas, love that you've made this video. Skins, leaderboards/podiums, and accolade rewards would be great for those of us who take the Eliminator pretty seriously. More marques and greater variety of cars per level would be great for bringing in and retaining new players. The most vital ideas are the smaller text and better anti cheat, because these can so easily ruin a race for no reason. The best idea is the longer final showdown with checkpoints, for more variety and unpredictability! Nothing else to add, I remember suggesting the accolades many months ago when you asked for contributions
@crazycjk I'm glad you enjoyed it! If I had to pick my top 3 ideas, it would be more and new cars (10 per level), a 20km Final Showdown, and possibly the Legendary car drop. I think they've addressed the anti-cheat situation before; it got better (but not perfect) after that particularly rough stretch we had with cheaters for a while. Adding these new game modes would also be great as would the other suggestions, but my list of 3 is where I'd like them to see them start and then add the other features as well
You made excellent idea's in this video, here's what would I add 1: More arena's, I know, I know, we already have a lot of arena's, but there are also some other interesting locations in map that will be nice to have as an arena 2: Quick report, after getting eliminated, or after wining an eliminator game, you can view a list of past h2h's & Gamertags that you encounter during the game, so you can be able to easily report players in-game 3: Final race (Extended), as there will be a (random chance) of the final race to be longer than usual, or sometimes the final will remain the same as normal, depending on the luck 4: Randomized level 1 car selection, so basically, let's say there are at least 10 level 1 cars in the eliminator, each time you queue into an eliminator game, the game will randomly select which level 1 car you will be driving on spawn. 5: General Eliminator leaderboard, just a simple leaderboard in free roam that shows who ever got the Most wins in the eliminator
@RayyanAlkhatibYT those are some great ideas! It would be interesting / different if the game chose the level 1 car for you, but it could be an option as long as there were a lot of level 1 cars (at least 10). I did mention the longer Final Showdown idea at 5:20 (where the FS is a 20 kilometer race divided into 4 different checkpoints and each checkpoint is 5 kilometers long)
@X-DR1FT3R-X yah imagine starting the Final Showdown down by the canyons at the north of the map instead of finishing the race there! You'd have to race up or around the mountain to get to the FS; that would be epic!
I like the jump strategies. Both ideas here are good. The ambiguity and very precise timing to get a perfect jump should always be close and fair to time.
When we challenged someone, we have to be able to see how many times we raced him before and how many of them is win/lose. That would be a great motivation for getting into head to head races. Also the one with most eliminations in current round should get some advantage at the final showdown (eg. getting into a random lvl 10 car if he is not already) and we should see the current ''most eliminator of the round'' on the screen live. they can add it one of the corners and it wouldn't be disturbing.
@AsajjVentressGamer those are some fantastic ideas! Having a "current history" showing your stats against every opponent & "top Eliminator this round" would be great to see; we'd also need to have a very good anti-cheat so this doesn't get taken advantage of by cheaters.
I think that any kind of eliminator statistic or leaderboard would actually make it easier to report a cheater. For example if you see that someone has abnormal stats you just challenge him and you’ll see if he’s top player or rather a cheater. Then you just go back to leaderboard and report him from there with screenshot or video proof. I think it would be actually easier than in other modes because in Eliminator you have to engage with other player whereas in i.e. rivals mode you can’t have clear proof that someone’s cheating.
@@KOPFSCHMERTZEN yah there should be the ability to report a cheater both from the leaderboard and from Spectator mode as well. Have a 60 second playback mode in Spectator mode where, when you report a cheater, it would automatically include the last minute of footage where he was using cheats
@X-DR1FT3R-X they have addressed this in the past when we had that really rough stretch with lots of cheaters, but yes it's still not perfect. It would definitely need to be re-addressed if they brought in some of these other ideas like Team Mode, longer Final Showdowns, etc
@Supernova66 thank you; I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yah I was wondering if I should mention the Skills notification but decided not to; it is strange that that's still visible even though it's turned off..
This would be the coolest eliminator of all time, here’s a random idea I had judging from your thumbnail, they should add parachutes to the cars only in certain game modes
Many excellent ideas in this video and updates. Thumbs up. I enjoyed the video and only saw a few off ideas that wouldn't work in the current style of Eliminator. I agree more cars per level is a must. Right from when I started playing or watching Horizon 4 games. There is more variety. The best idea I like here is a rotating car list. Still some would have to stay because legacy familiar to the gametype. A big L here was FH5 could have had it with the season swap approach. Fresh gameplay and different cars every other week. I like the idea of a one off Legendary highest lvl car and a brief race-off to get it. As for later waves in the eliminator. I like to see higher car drops randomly spawn and disappear. Yet, I see the problem with too many high lvl cars. It becomes more a skill issues and relies too much on map and game knowledge. Spectator mode and a in-game player list are absolutely great. I agree there. FH4 started out well with a part in use. I see that and the anti-cheat discussion here as improves to the game. More badges and unlockables. YES! Also, To normally buy eliminator cars and chose base colors as a start. It would give players a chance to pick their favorite colors. The completion for mode badges to give cool car skins options are nice too. Even to disable it as an option to force base colors. As for modes I would like keep it simple. To make the Finale a checkpoint race would be great in the bigger lobbys discussed here. A Co-op or 2p duo mode would be nice too. I like the idea of multi-racing. I will add to that later. To help a friend to win is a good discussion here. I disagree with one point. If your 1 buddy is eliminated the team doesn't end and I sort of like the idea to revive your duo buddy by to beat the car that outraced your partner. As for multiple race. Getting eliminations is fun. Adding or challenging more players to a single race is great idea. The one thing I would take is that the driver doing such would have that a spree of two wins. Keeping it simple... The default race would morph into a checkpoint race with the 1 checkpoint becomes a start point to the multi-race. Thats the only change is 1 checkpoint added. No car lvl required only a few wins to trigger. That checkpoint would start the race to the end. It would also setup clever strategy to be quick on the horn trigger. Just my ideas. Sorry for the long post. Huge idea for the video. Thanks and glad you brought this topic up!
I've always maintained that a multiple/checkpoint finish line would be an awesome idea. That way if theres an amg and a brocky in the FS, the 1st checkpoint may be down the highway but the next could be up the mountain, therefore favouring both cars
@@Supershark1908 exactly; you might be 2nd in 3 of the 4 checkpoints, but maybe your opponent messes up between checkpoint 3 and the finish line (checkpoint 4), and you might have the opportunity to overtake and beat him to the finish line 😃
That was a good list of suggestions! At this point, anything new that they can add to the Eliminator will make a big difference. I feel like people are just exhausted from the repetitiveness. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
I hope they change the eliminator car list every 6 months rather than every month and I totally agree with adding different and strange cars to the game
@PeelP50gobrrrrr yah changing the car roster every month would be too much; doing it every 4-6 months would be better (assuming we had 10 cars per level)
Very good idea to refer to the official forum. We have it in our own hands. Furthermore a lvl11 car drop would be so so awesome. Really looking forward to it. Also the conditions for the legendary drop sounds very nice. Also the mystery car drops would be a fantastic extension. It would fit perfectly into the current game. Great vid. See you soon on your livestreams. Greetings
@patros500 thank you bud! Yah if we get enough votes on that Post, the developers will likely eventually see it and notice that this is something that a large part of the Eliminator community wants. And I agree; having a Legendary car drop and Mystery / Flash drops would be a great way to add some unpredictability and excitement to the game without them needing to massively overhaul the current game mode 😃
How about this for random cars? When you start, the car types are random. One games they are all Hypercars and modern supercars then the next game they could be classic muscle cars with cult classics or Pickups and 4x4s with Sport Utility Heroes.
@hatterxii that's actually a very interesting idea! Imagine this: before you load into the game you are presented with a large variety of different car types (each car type would have around 20 cars in it). Every player can choose 3 car types (let's say most players voted hypercars, muscle, & classics) then 85% of that Eliminator round's cars would be those 3 car types. The other 15% of cars would be a random assortment from other car categories. Next round most players voted Pickups, Buggies, and Supercars; now that round's cars would predominantly be cars from that category. That would be a great way to make every round unique and special indeed 🤩
@SerjantChamp yah that'd be tough to beat; the biggest current competitor would be the AMG One. However, it would be more evenly matched once the race goes off-road. You may have the fastest car, but often the end result comes down to driver skill 😃
I think you’ve covered most of the improvements we all wish to be implemented…at least I can’t find more as for now 😅 My favorites are definitely the level 11 car or the teams mode besides more cars of course 😅
@@prommel yah more cars and new cars should be the the biggest priority imo, and having a legendary car drop would be epic! Hopefully if the Forum Post gets enough votes this will catch the developer's attention before FH6 comes out 😃
@StriderZ possible Game Mode playing 3 Games Eliminator Mode but using all 3 maps Mexico Map, Rally Adventure Map and Hot Wheels Map, if you get Eliminated you then spectate until Round 1 is finish, once finished you then spawn into Game 2 into a different map and so on, if someone win more than 1 round they are crown champions, however if 3 different player win each round, then 3 player are put in to 3 way Final Showdown to see who will win 🏆 what do you think of that type of game mode
Nice video with good ideas. 👍 Top of my list of REQUIRED things for FH6 Eliminator by "category" 😉: - [anti cheat] the code should provide a least an ounce of cheat protection. - [anti cheat] the game both client and server side should have quick obvious cheater detection (high speed, high acceleration, high altitude, high flight time...). Purpose automatically flag cheaters for the support to BAN QUICKLY AND EARLY... the faster the hammer falls the faster the cheater will learn. - [anti cheat] reporting cheaters directly from the game. - [anti cheat] server side add some sort of cheater reporting trustworthiness to help prioritize the efficient cheaters reporters. - [anti cheat] eliminated players should be able to spectate the rest of the game. I know that the spectator could tell the location of a low level car hidden on the map. But at least follow the path of the car that eliminated you. If it's a cheater you'll have more recordings of the cheating. - [anti cheat] record the game metadata server side and offer to download it at the end of the game. Starsiege Tribes in 1999, Tribes 2 in 2002 both did it. It's wonderful to be able to relive a great game from various points of view. It will benefit anti cheating, enthusiasts and content creators. - [anti cheat] fix the bugs/cheats related to the map/menu. The map/menu should not block the automatic car upgrade process. The map/menu should not suspend physics. So only one category... anti cheat. 🤣 Your best non anti cheat ideas: more car rotation over the seasons, podium and leader board. Bug fixes that MUST be fixed : upgrade loop, gigantic opaque HUD.
@FabriceRoux oh and we also need a better anti-che ... wait.. I think you did already mention that 🤣 But, I totally agree; they should consider banning the specific hardware the cheater plays on so they can't simply run dozens of different accounts when one account gets banned (like we see in FH5 now). For the other game modes to work, we would definitely need to have a more robust anti-cheat in place
I love the idea of a whole new garage for eliminator in 5. That would definitely keep things fresh for a while yet. In 6, I like all your game mode ideas. Why not have 4 styles of eliminator???? In a hurry, do the 7 min flash round, want a co-op experience then hit up duos. If there was as much variation in game modes as you presented in 12 minutes, they could make Forza Eliminators, a standalone game. I gotta be honest, I haven't touched any seasonal crap in months, all the new tracks they've added are still new, I stopped caring about accolades and leveling up. I only eliminate. That's it. Same with 4. I've been jumping back to that eliminator cause I enjoy the map, and the different cars. Spice things up a bit.
@@Allisonmo22 yah the Eliminator is about 90-95%% of what I do in Forza as well, so when the devs spend like 95% of their time on non-Eliminator things, it feels like none of the updates and other events are even relevant to me. It would almost be best if the Eliminator was its own game mode so that it got the attention it deserves as opposed to it being like an afterthought without any updates like it is right now..
@SkyBlueDrifter I agree! Feel free to vote on the Forum post I pinned above; if we get enough votes it's likely that the developers will eventually see it and hopefully add these ideas 😃
@PeelP50gobrrrrr and it should be longer; at least 20 kms long and spread into 4 different checkpoints (with each checkpoint being 5kms long). This would help to really test the skills of the drivers as you might lead from checkpoints 1-3, but someone might sneak through and win the final checkpoint & game
Amazing video, excellent effort doing it all, let's hope devs will see this! My biggest suggestion is new final arenas, like in Guanajuato, cayon, main festival and much much more, or make completely new arena mechanic so the final arenas will be completely random all over the map. I know it will be definitely very hard to do, but it would be amazing if they will just add a lot of new areas all over the map Another suggestion is longer final races, but without a checkpoints, it's all personal reference but i will actually prefer to have for example final race from Baja to uxmall with normal finish without checkpoints. I would also love to see in game leaderboard that you can access in freeroam like hall of fame leaderboard, and it will show how many wins someone has, how many games played and how many final races completed. And of course it will sort the way that first player will be the one with most wins, but you will be able to see what's his winrate.
@MatiGamerr I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for sharing those suggestions as well! Hopefully we get these ideas applied to the FH6 Eliminator, or possibly even in FH5 yet
I agree with all your points accept for the legendary car drop as legendary car will be to op and frustrating to fight against for example on the highway finals if someone is in the AMG one it's pretty much a gg unless they have massive skill issue. Some best games were the highway and I end up in the funco by the end just end up losing in the final just because the guy had the AMG one I also had the better start in the final. The 2nd point is disagree with his arena shrinking point I think works perfectly as is.
@randaboy3601 the legendary car drop would need to be in tandem with a longer (20 km) Final Showdown; it might dominate the highway but others could catch up off-road. It would add some excitement and an unexpected twist to the game, and it would be rare as well
It'd be nice if convoys were in some way easy in fh5 and the convoy leader could pull his entire convoy into 1 eliminator. Could you imagine how much easier your livestreams would be?! Lol
Great ideas. Also, we should never be offered the same car as the person we just beat. Along those lines, we should be given a choice of more than one car on an upgrade - probably 3. For the very dedicated players (all of us commenting here), I would like to be able to configure my preferences in each level. That could enable a challenge where we all purposefully get bad upgrades. You touched on it in the video, but a better car ranking of the poor higher level cars (especially Camaro and Trackhawk) is desperately needed. I swear I get that Trackhawk 50%+ of the time, which results in missing a lot of finals because there's often no time to set up the race against who by then are the better players. The only thing I saw that I disagree with slightly is the reporting of cheater by those outside the game. It's a good idea, but I could see it being turned into a sort of bullying by purposefully reporting someone who is playing honestly. If it required a video clip, then it's a great idea. The real answer here is to dive into what is allowing the cheaters in and simply ELIMINATE the vulnerability. :) Failing that, Forza needs to take action on the evidence that you and others submit and ban the cheaters.
@Ganymede55 thank you! I would still like to choose my opponent's car (especially when you beat an opponent multiple levels higher than your own car), but it might be an idea to not have identical upgrade options. For example; if I'm a level 7 car and I beat a level 8 Metro, my upgrade options shouldn't be either my opponent's Metro or my own level 8 Metro (always have 2 different cars to choose from). I do like the idea of having a 3rd car choice, but I'm not sure how they would determine what that 3rd car should be. And yes, there should always be video proof of the cheater (not just people spam reporting a player "just because"). But, any player that does get reported many times should be manually looked into to determine if a player is cheating, and if there has been video footage submitted with evidence to prove it before action is taken.
For me one of big improvements would be adding some kind of a way to find and reach buddies that you are in lobby with. Right now the only way to ping someone is to remember their gamertag when you race duels and search this player manually which is tedious. Many times I’ve run across top notch players and I got completely owned. I would like to quickly send the guy message after duel with congrats and maybe if he is kind enough he will share some tips 😂. As I wrote earlier lack of public leaderboard or something similar makes this mode feel detached from the rest of the game.
@KOPFSCHMERTZEN that's a good idea; maybe have a "contact" section on the leaderboard where you can choose from some predetermined messages like "you're a good player" or "that was a great race" or something similar. And for all your friends; maybe they could add slight green outline around the arrow on the minimap indicating the players that you're friends with on Xbox 😃
Another bug I've came up with during Eliminator games is invisible pink dots. So when you're not in a race and maybe heading outside of the arena (looking for car drops or people to race) all of a sudden and without appearing on the minimap before a pink dot appears out of nowhere already going full speed heading to the center of the map, so you were intentionally driving to the outside of the arena but now you have to brake immediately cuz that player challenged you and you're already 2nd, don't know if that had happened to anyone else before... but it happened to me so 🤣
btw really nice and interesting list Strider, I even got excited just by imagining all those new features implemented in the Eliminator, new cars, the checkpoint to the FS, that'd be so cool!
@nickvicious295 yup that's happened to me as well, and it would great to get that fixed! Hopefully we do get some or all of these changes added to the FH6 Eliminator 😃
my wish list - new circles, the map is big enough - new final routes - better synchronization of players (no more invisible dots on empty maps) - reliable registration of the challenges (no more honking and nothing happens) - a feature to enter a session with friends
@mestorone5766 thanks for sharing those ideas bud! New maps and routes has been sorely needed for a while now, and server inconsistencies is probably the cause of the sync and honk issues we're experiencing. Hopefully these things will be fixed in the FH6 Eliminator
Super eliminator should be 4-6 times a day, and I agree that 60 player sessions should be normal instead of being a rarity. I agree with almost the rest, with so many new cars already, we don't need a rotating roster though. But I really agree with the rest, I wish the devs cared more about the eliminator😊
We do really need a spectator mode and a legendary car drop. It would make the game so much more fun and spectator mode would be a great anti-cheat system.
I'm guessing your thread has been the most voted in the suggestions hub for quite some time. I remember reading it ages ago and finding myself in agreement but thinking the devs must of seen this and if they can't/wont even change something as simple as the transparent/smaller text (which drives me nuts by the way!) then what hope have we got? 🤷♀
@CloisteR05 I think a big part is how many votes these suggestions get. If I remember correctly, a lot of people voted for having nighttime extended in FH5 and that did happen, so hopefully having this both in video and post format means that eventually they will see it 😃
upgrade drops, which could be the same rarity as purple drops, which would let you upgrade your car, however, if you are upgrading your car for more than lets say 2 mins, you are eliminated (obviously, there would be a timer)
and there should also be the ultimate eliminator accolade which would give you the level 11 car, which you wouldnt be able to get otherwise (not even from the auction house), so it would be something similar to ford capri fe in fh4, i would also like the level 11 car to be something completely new
@jakart3462 those are some good ideas; thanks for sharing! There could even be a limit for how many car drops you could take in 1 round (but this should probably be in a separate game mode though)
@@StriderZYT with the upgrade drops, you can also do some tactics which require a pretty good knowledge of the game like knowing which car has got an engine swap to make it super fast (you wouldnt be able to use the auto tuning which would bump you up to a certain class, you also wouldnt be able to use someone elses tune), and in hardcore mode, you would only be able to make the car 1 class higher, for example if a car is C550, you would only be able to upgrade it to B700
Great video with great ideas! Hope there is an eliminator mode in FH6! Heard that's going to be cancelled! 😮 If it goes ahead with the Eliminator it would be nice if at least 4-5 of these great ideas are adopted! But I don't hold out much hope! What most drivers want is no more cheats! This doesn't just apply to the Eliminator! All high scores or the Hall of Fame is full of cheaters! Why? Can't you just remove these losers from the lists? A slap in the face for all those who play honestly and with all their heart and soul!
@@racingdragon7 I really, really hope there's an Eliminator mode in FH6; what's the point of getting the game if there is no Eliminator? 😅 And yes, a better anti-cheat is very important as well!
@@RayyanAlkhatibYT I haven't read it yet, just heard about it! I hope it's not true! If there is no Eliminator in FH6, then I'm still thinking about buying the game! I think all players want a new Eliminator!
Strider I think 60 seconds is to long, maybe 5-15 seconds would be good enough. But yeah the jesko would be the best. Also the liveries might be my favorite or the duos so I can play with saiko.
@Bost617 yes there would have to be a good balance to how long a "Flash Drop" would be so it's not too long or too short. Let's see if some of these ideas will come to the Eliminator in the future 😃
First and foremost, fix the cheating. Every game I run into 3 or 4 people cheating. Second, I personally would like to see a whole game developed based solely on the eliminator.
@forrestcampbell29 wow you run into cheaters a lot more than me; I've met 2 within the last 2 weeks but even that is too many. And I've thought about the Eliminator being its own game as well apart from Forza; this way the developers would fully focus on improving it without needing to think about every other aspect of Forza as well. Who knows, maybe one day we'll see a comparable game that is fully focused on an open world Eliminator style gameplay like the Forza Eliminator
7:21 bro the text is so big I can’t even see the car and I wear glasses 8:20 😂 i was hoping your not gonna bring it up 9:15 I already drive in hard mode it’s more challenging 👍🏻 9:31 that’s a bog no no in other maps it could be possible but in this one not a chance you are gonna hit something just a matter of time. Will you really said what alot of us is thinking thank you 🙏🏻
@ibandr2525 you're welcome bud! I'm really hoping that the developers add these features; if we get enough votes on the Forum post I pinned above the developers might see it
These are all great suggestions but I'm not sure that the Devs have the bandwidth to implement them. I also feel that they simply will NOT address cheating in the game as it stands. Sadly they do not appear to act on reports currently and will not be inclined to receive more of them! BTW it was rumoured that another Eliminator mode (Duos) was coming out but it appears to have died a death on the drawing board.
@bluefish2303 imo all these ideas would be possible but yes, it would require more bandwidth to implement. However, some if these suggestions have already been tried in FH4 (leaderboard, more cars per level, etc) so it would just be a matter of improving a concept they've already tried before. Yah there was rumors about Duos coming to the Eliminator but unfortunately that never happened.. yet
@@niddelsarmiento4608 yah even just a few really good players could be enough to take the Team win even though most of the rest of the team was eliminated already
I mostly agree with them, except instant elimination with timeout in the FS. Adjusting your speed, trying to exit perfectly in my opinion make the FS more exciting. In addition when you try to exit perfectly you could be punished more when the finish line is manipulated. All in all these are very cool ideal that would make them more exciting and appealing. Hope these will be heard and read by the developers. Hope to see you in the arena 🫡
I have a feeling that there may be licensing issues around the cars used - some manufacturers may be happy for their cars to be used in racing but not eliminator?
@twells3458 I'm not sure but that is possible; even so I imagine that many different cars would still be available from the hundreds of car choices in the game
@@StriderZYT they definitely could increase - even more cars from the existing manufacturers would be a start if they are limited. Lots of other great points though - I’m a completionist so any additional accolades, achievements and unlockables would have me playing a lot more
@@waynehinds3968 I'm sure there's ways Playground Games could be improved, but if you play the Eliminator, you'll see that the Eliminator does very much need to be improved as well
@sisekobravo6366 so far I haven't seen any indications that there won't be an Eliminator in FH6; I'd really be reconsidering buying the game if the Eliminator wasn't part of it since that is like 90% of what I do in Forza
@@StriderZYT they're introducing a new game mode so Horizon 6 will be built around that, so my guess is that it's gonna be a test here then will be fully implemented on the next game.
