In Brazil we play footsal and many different soccer's "mini games" this is our secret! I'm not even good for amauter level in Brazil but when I played in USA I become a master because in USA they only play soccer....to improve your skills in general, and I recommend you try "dribinha" it's a game where u don't have to score, this game is created to improve drilling skills, play with 3 people in a 2x1 1 defender, and the defender tries to tackle but you cannot do a pass unless you beat the defender first. It's a amazing training! And we have much more games that improve every single phase of the game!
hey can you please make a video more focused towards teenagers, like freshman in high school. I along with many other kids are so busy with school and homework and it can be very hard to get in the extra work to become the best that I can be, because I am not at that level yet and want to get better, and I feel as if I'm not practicing enough. How can someone like me balance school and other extra activities and soccer together. How much practice is enough. I have club soccer practice mondays and thursdays only
Wow i needed this years ago. My lack of vision and awareness was always an issue and although I knew you had to look around, I always had a habit of ball watching or just doing what my coaches and teammates say without thinking. That never worked out well but now you taught me better.
Good advice my tip for midfielders is Come in to come out so stay out then Come in to get the ball with all the space In front of u and dribble into it when u get the ball
You just made me realize my mistakes! Thank you so much for the content you make i have become a really good player by following your advise !😁(By the way A really really good video! )
Very entertaining & informative. So siced my team hours ago drew against VA Hammers of the PDL and I scored the 1st goal when we were 2 0 down. Keep grinding everyone and don't stop learning.
you right there a difference between good passer and great passer. great passer are pirlo, xavi, iniesta, fabregas, messi. theres no passer compare with these guys when it comes to vision
Awareness and vision just come naturally. Nothing you can really do to improve it. Nobody taught Messi, iniesta, David silva vision and awareness they already had it. Natural talent that is all.
Do you have videos on how to be aware of great positioning. I recently joined a higher level team and I feel as if everyone is better than me. I always practice but mostly by myself and can't find ways to practice this solo. Great video btw!
Better vision does not let players use their technique or skill better. Better vision helps your TEAM control possession, advance the ball quicker, leading to more shots on goal, and hopefully scoring more often. The quicker players can assess the current situation make a decision will greatly improve your team's performance.
Hey SimplySoccer, I look to improve my awareness as a attacking full back and I have become very good at it, but I was wondering what I could do as a teammate to help my teammates understand my passes? Because sometimes I see a clear lane for a through ball to my attackers but they never run into the open space and my pass ends up looking like a poor pass into empty space, what could I do?
I have a very relevant question to this topic: How would I be able to practice and get better at vision and soccer iq by myself or with another person, aside from frequently watching professional soccer matches? Great video btw! Keep up the good work!
Practicing in the way I mentioned in the video. You can practice receiving the ball while getting in the habit of looking at the space around you. Also, the better you first touch and control is, the better you'll be able to react in situations where you will need awareness.
Rapid/ very hard shot/ very decent footwork/ 180CM tall/and a great tackler/extremely high accuracy with passing and good vision. Where do I have to play?
I would honestly stick with mastering the fundamentals. You can practice regular receiving with the inside and outside of your foot and also do the turning drill you saw me do in this video.
Ok i have a problem in the match someone pass over ball to me and i cant play volley ball or shoot when the ball very fast but ball come far from me and i cant head the ball because i cant hit ball in right time but i have more finshing in down ball
