Larry - Teeing the ball up lower has revolutionized my driving! Can’t believe it myself but I am out driving people I could not get near before?! I think teeing it lower is encouraging more center face contact whereas with the higher tee contact was all over the face. Mostly hitting down the center. When I miss it’s usually a push to the right. Thank you sir!

Went to the range today and low tee is my new play. Width and keeping hands back with lots of turn. Smashing driver. Still needs polishing but love the feels of squatting, turning with arms back and no hinge. Came off the face so fast. You the man sir

I used to hit driver ok. Been losing irons right and driver turned crazy erratic. I Been struggling lately, lost 5 of 9 tee shots into the woods last week. After seeing this video and 10 mins of range practice with this video in mind I hit a bunch of push draws today shot a +2 for 9 holes and got my driver distance back up to 295. Thanks Larry!! How do I pay for this???

How long does it take to hit the ball inside out when tendency is to slice? A few hours, days, weeks or months?
@LarryCheungGolf
@LarryCheungGolf 2 года назад
if the only desire is to swing inside out, it can happen in one lesson, but to make it good with all compatible parts working in unison, would take much longer depending on how good someone wants to make it =)

LC. Love it. You have made me think about my swing in a completely different light. In 2 range sessions was able to generate effortless power simply from the squat/rotate. How do you get that loop where you drop your hands to shallow the club and bring it back on plane? How do you keep the wrist hinge to a minimum? It makes the swing look so short. That is the missing piece. Keep it up.

So just like with irons you'd like to see the butt end of the club at P3 pointing at or inside the ball? I seem to struggle with this and I can only assume it's because it's a longer club and it puts me more upright (flatter shoulder turn).

So if I don't have an issue with coming outside-in or over the top, and 75% of my drives over-draw/hook even when I hit the ball in the middle of the club, what is going on and how can I fix it? Is it that I am way too inside-out? Am I flipping my wrists over at impact? Am I rotating my hips too early and keeping my arms too rigid so they just follow my body and pull the ball? All of the above?
@LarryCheungGolf
@LarryCheungGolf 2 года назад
not sure without seeing the swing =P
@jtuds
@jtuds 2 года назад
I went for a fitting and ended up buying a Cobra LTDx with a 44.5 in shaft and I am finding a lot more control and consistency from the driver. I've done some hitting at a simulator and it seems that my shots that go left are caused by having an inside-out swing with a square or closed face. I'm delivering irons with a positive angle of attack, so I am pretty sure that I need to rotate/pivot better and maintain my wrist position longer The challenge, as usual, is figuring out how to train that!

Hi Larry. Not a fan of pulling the club in at 7 , I became the biggest shanker.I actually saw you shank 2 shots doing your half swing drill. I do not see Rory or Louis Oosthuizen do these things and they both take the club straighter out and have a hinge of the club to at least 90 degrees when the left arm is level to the ground with the shaft plane extending to the ball line.Sorry but your full swing is amazing in your SLOW/FAST/SLOW video and it does not look anything like what you drill in the others. Sorry , Just an Observation from an OLD Pro.
@LarryCheungGolf
@LarryCheungGolf 4 года назад
You don't need to apologize, we can agree to disagree. Alot of these things are feels to help someone swing better, exaggerating feels is what helps someone change their movement patterns, depending on the person and the task at hand, I couldn't care less where the ball goes during the exaggeration phase =)
