It's helpful to hear what pilots who know what they're doing think about the techniques they're using. I flew alone for my first 2 + years and didn't really know what was good or not. Am still learning all the time!
Well, I’m glad it was useful information for you. I totally understand that. Did the same myself and it definitely makes it tough to progress. Glad these tips were useful and thanks so much for watching. Have a great day!
Fantastic information and explanation brother! I feel myself slowly increasing my cam tilt the better I get and it does feel great to go faster than before totally agree 🤟 Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family my friend! 🦃
Oh hell yes - unforgiving dive holes - secret tips of the pro-level 10 clearance-Jedi-Sage-Elder himself... "Honey!... Where's my note pad???" ❤ all love G money. Stay up brother ✌️
Thank you!!!! I have been wondering why I cannot dive my micros like my 3-in and smaller quads like I can dive my 5 inch quad, my smaller ones I fly and more confined areas and I don't have my camera angle up as high, and every time I've tried diving I end up not really diving and it seemed like I was fighting yaw, but I think you may have helped me figure this out! Thank you this was awesome and keep up the good work!!!
Yep, I’m aware. It was an issue with a setting on my camera. I’ve got an external mic. I ramped up the volume as high as it would go. Thank you for the feedback! Appreciate ya!
I've got a yard with lots of 100 foot tall trees or so, I love long deep dives too, and there is a tiny hole above my driveway. I one day mindlessly decided to dive it, kind of no thought involved, and it was perfect! I couldn't believe it, tried like 10-20 times more, just broke shit and haven't done it clean at all since :D
Sometimes the mindless attempts are the best. Once you start planning and thinking...sheet goes south quick! Thanks a bunch my friend and glad it worked out for you.
Hahaha! You’re right. Cool analogy big dog. Thanks for continuing to watch the content from the archives status! Much love big dog! Hope you’re healing up mang.
Great info im new to fpv just a few months in and yesterday and today i did my first tower dives ... I did notice as im diving i start pulling away from the structure... Im running a 12 degree tilt and your info will definitely help me thanks
Awe yeah! That’s exciting FO SHO! Leaning more forward will stop that pull away. It’s scary but necessary. The other tip I didn’t talk about was minding your sticks. Sometimes we subconsciously add input without even realizing. That’s why on very technical high speed tricks I’ll sometimes release my pinch from the problem stick. Thanks a bunch and welcome to the hobby!
I just subbed because videos like that are great for improving my understanding and give guidance on what to look out for. Thanks a bunch for the effort and thought you put into your vids.
Awesome info Phantom, I’ve been working on some higher diving lately pushing the fall and bottoming out a little 😂 not quite hitting the blip hard enough I’m getting it though bro, also trying to work out to how to slow the dive without levelling out to much, pitching back just slightly I think is what works. Maybe could be a part 2 getting close to dive obstacles/structures controlling speed and lining up a dive gap? Loved the cheeky little dive gap at the end 👊 7:32
Definitely bro! Glad to hear that you’re taking it up and working recovery. It’s not easy and has taken me a long time to get it. I still work on it every time I’m out. You know, that’s actually going to be my next one. Glad ya mentioned it. Thanks so much Mr Magoo! Have a great weekend buddy!
@@PhantomFPV I'm disabled so it takes me a little longer to save to get equipment but I will get one.Ive spent thousands of hours on the demo I'm ready to fly soon.
this guys is so wise ...& helpful to the community...because mostly this fundamental recovery technique are forgotten in some peope are rely on to just raise the Dgain or blame the PID tune /PID preset/filter or even blame the firmware😁..thanks to @phantomfpv who has remaind us about how important of the throttle managment in daily flying
The deeper I “dive” into the hobby, the more I realize throttle control is everything. Your insight is greatly appreciated, please keep these tutorials coming. Have a safe holiday
Haha I’m a bouncer and an oscillator! 😮 Thanks for giving to the community with this great tutorial and help video… will definitely try some of your tips! 💯🏆👍🏼
