with the new cylinder plate, making the frame for the cylinder canopy is extremely easier. the only down side is that you won't be able to make it transparent because the frame cuts through the glass and makes it look weird.

The newer planes (srry f14 get outta here) are harder because newer planes would mostly focus on stealth. And for stealth you would want a less rounded plane because the less sides you have on a plane, the harder it is for radaa to detect.

Having engines blocked to the sides and when they come together can affect the stability of the plane?

Me personally, I prefer making roscale jets, but not 1 block nose jets, those are ugly, and I use 1 block noses only if absolutely necessary (like when making an f-15 or mig-29, f-14 su-27 and f-16 are more like 2 block noses)

Only problem is that I can’t even get my plane to fly properly lol
