its better to spend a lot more time getting the perfect timing, dynamics and relaxation on the slowest tempo, getting to a point of burning hands in my opinion is the wrong goal
Im personally trying these metronome exercises right now and im not sure which is a good amount of times to practice so im gonna go 3 times from 60 to 100bpm then 5 then 10 etc, hoping i can gain some big speed and strengjt
I myself need to get back to these exercises. I stopped doing them many months ago and even stop doing blast beats in general and I can feel myself struggling to get back to the speed I had in this video 😅 for me I would just watch something and kinda zone out while doing it and just go until I felt that good burn in my arms from the exercise. Give it a rest for a while and then get back at it later. Short bursts of doing it until you feel the burn is pretty much the goal though.
