I think this is all BS because if you have something everyone wants no matter what the title or the photo or anything else you may do wrong it doesn't matter you will have so many views and offers the minute you put on that a fact.
You’re correct. Supply vs Demand is the most fundamental principle of business. If you have products that will sell themselves, then business is easy. But, not every product will fly off of the shelf. Some items just don’t have high demand. This video was made to help people learn SEO & marketing strategies that are applicable to eBay. If these methods aren’t for you, that’s fine. But, I can assure you these methods do work if you’re willing to give them a shot. Just food for thought.
@@CoachCommerce What I'm on about the ones that say if you put a bad photo bad titles and so on your item will be at the bottom of the pile and no one will see it I say that BS because if your team is good everyone wants it and starts the bid at 0.99 you will 100s of views and you will receive offers that a fact I use it myself had 0 views all week then changed the price to 0.99 and the views start to up also offers start to come, try it, sacrifice something just for experiment
I like the way this guy talks fast and gets to the point. Other sellers have good ideas and content - but you have to listen to so much bs it isn't worth the time.

Again....you are so brilliant and so different from the other bloggers!! I watched this video on Thursday, and by today - Sunday, my sales increased ENORMOUSLY!!! I had a record week in sales because of these tips. Ok, some may think that we are getting closer to Christmas...BUT NO! instantly I received more views and watchers. I also decreased and increased old listings by $1. Oh and the Sell similar" listings also did great! Then I also sent offers and scored sales! My avg weekly sales were approximately $450. Today I'm already at $1000 plus what I'll sell tonight and Monday. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Very informative. My friends listings were starting to slump. I don't believe she used item specifics and she has old listings, plus she lists once a week. I will pass it on. Do you still find these tips working now versus 10 months ago when you made this video?. My sales went down about 90% in this last year. I was never a big seller, but went from averaging 6-7 sales a day to about 5 sales a week now with the same amount of listings. One of the biggest things I've noticed is you no longer get a boost in traffic to new listings.
To the point..ty.I haven't sold much, but I have to leave my house aft 24 yrs, have so much NWT kids stuff,Gymboree clothes. Nothing major,but it's clearly not fitting my high school SR 😂

You know, i've had similar experiences with offers and promotions. Sometimes they work, and other times...nothing. In my opinion, the best way to generate sales is to list, and list, and list. The more you have up for sale, the better the sales get!
This runs contrary to what you said in this video, that some shops with thousands of listings don't perform as well as smaller shops. Is it quality or quantity?@@CoachCommerce

This is all great info. Ive been dabbling on ebay for the past 10 years or so. The past couple years ive noticed a lot my items sit and sit and sit most with little to no views. I tried for the first time promoting some items but it really doesnt seem to make a difference other than i pay more if it sells. Whats your real opinion on promoting listings while following all of your other steps to increase visibility in Cassini
Great video, and I learned a quick lesson on item presentation, as I have been photographing my guitars in front of a black background instead of white, so now I will redo all of my photos and see what happens. Now I have what may be a dumb question, but eBay isn't very clear on this. If I promote an item, do I only pay for clicks from the actual buyer, or from all of the clicks that the item receives? Best dang helpful ebay video I've seen... quick question. I was trying your end listing and then list similar but I have to reload pics. Is there a short cut for that or do I need to dig the item out and take new pics
10:12 Great point That is why I never list in eBay Facebook groups when they have a post that says list one active item. 12:13 This works for me 12:30 I hate this and we should not support it I would rather send offers to buyers.
I agree. I would rather give best offers to interested buyers than give the money to eBay to promote the item. Also, people that usually buy on eBay will hit the lowest price + shipping on the default menu when searching.
This is great advice. However, what I am getting if eBay doesn’t like your items there’s no sales anyway. It’s a lot of work. I need to figure it out. I sell created bookmarks.
ebay makes money on me every month no matter if I sell anything because I have a store. How many sellers have STORES who are paying monthly fees to ebay so they have that GUARANTEED income no matter WHAT we sell or what they do for us?

The piece of information that was the most helpful which I had no clue about was the dispatch time. It was previously set at 10 working days - to give me some extra time in getting them out - and I changed it to 3 working days my views and sales shot right up so thank you. Also the item specifics I tend to ignore I have changed these too. Amazing!!

Thanks for the compliment! In regards to deleting (or hiding) a sold listing...eBay doesn't technically allow it. This is why you're able to see every sold item from all sellers on ebay. However, there is a "backdoor" method of hiding your sold listings by using the "out of stock" option. But it only hides items if the option is already activated on your account. I use this method in my store, so my competition doesn't see hot products that I'm selling (and encroach on that item). It sometimes take a lot of work and research to find replenishable items that are profitable, and it's a bummer when other people spy on you. This method prevents that to some extent.
