How to increase POWERBANK power 

This is genius. I wish I had a USB power bank that was able to output 20W four years ago. I could have powered my 17W laptop with something like that. Still, I lack a lot of electrical engineering knowledge so it would still make more sense for me to just buy a DIY usb power bank kit with QuickCharge 3.0 capability. Thank you for the video, very interesting.

So, just to check, you changed the inductor and also the current limiting smc resistors but not the fets ?

Your both phones are of xaomi . It is so because on connecting charger it shows that round circle like my phone to indicate charging..

Which exact power bank is that? As you pointed out, some banks use integrated controllers for battery management and output control, and some don't have good efficiency or separate FETs, so it matters which one it is. Can you share the model and supplier?

i have a power case for the s6 edge which i already replaced with a new battery. but im still not satisfied due to the fact the power case cant provide much current to charge the phone. im only getting 0.3 to 0.4 amps estimate using an app. i'll check if i can replicate this method on the case when i have time to open it again

Thx for this video, i have a power bank, it have 6 USB ports but if you connect 2 modern phones it will just turn off, i check the pcb, and it have a ME7170-G, but the datasheet says it can handle enough, what could be the problem?
